Which TM putter grip is that? I see lots of their tour staff using it.

Couldn’t get a better sponsor , I would have my bag covered in Steak house and fast food logos. Wonder if he eats at Ruth’s for free? Anyone ever try that grip on his driver? I was looking at giving jumbomax a try.

Pete Cowen disciples have been doing this for a number of years. Train smarter not harder.

Curious about the grip as well, seems similar to the Cameron Cord No Cord grip.

 

Edit: It appears to be the Ghost Tour putter grip, also made by Golf Pride.

I used to go to Kevin Kirk (Jhonattan Vegas and P. Reed's coach) when I played in high school and college, and he was a big proponent of the putter grip on non-putter clubs. I had one on a backup driver, 7-iron, and a sand wedge to help improve path and impact positions. I really loved it on the sand wedge as my miss was a pull, and the putter grip really helped me to improve the feel in my hands and knowledge of where that clubface was throughout my swing!

How do you position the putter grip on a driver? It looks like KC has the “top” of the grip facing toward the back of the club.

KC's swing coach is Mark Blackburn and this is one of Mark's training aids that he uses with all of his students. You'll see Chez Reavie using one as well. I first saw this prop used by Robert Karrlson in 2010 when Mark worked with him. The flat part of the grip is positioned relatively square to the face and pointing to the trail side; although this can very depending on what Mark is wanting to achieve or change. GREAT face awareness!!!

I've got a SS Flatso Tour on an old AP2 8i set up this way and love it.
