When I get bored with the color of the M5, I’ll have Continental Golf make it white like an R15. To be truthful, I think it was easier to hit a driver that was white back in the day when I used one. I don’t think it was the design or forgiveness of the driver, cause today’s drivers have much more MOI and technology, but I feel I hit a driver with a white head better than a black, maybe I like lighter colors cause when I had my G25 painted I hit it more consistently.

I’m sure they have their next generation ready for production and done with testing and already testing the models up to 3 release cycles into the future. I’ve seen other companies doing that. They always have something up their sleeves.

TM has used the inverted cone tech on all of their drivers since the early 2000s when they started using it. Personally I would like TM to release an updated modern day R580XD TP driver that's available for left hand players. The R580XD TP was 440cc of driver perfection. Still game one today at times. They might have done it if they had released the M5 Tour driver in lefty.

For the billionth time...OEMs would release lefty clubs if it was profitable. It isn’t.

I know King has left Honma but they did drop their new line today (9/19). Looking forward to what TM has in store.

Interested to see what the new color scheme will be on these drivers. Did not care for the orange on the current line. Maybe all black would be a nice change up

The carbon top will stay. I’m imagining they’ll keep the silver instead of going back to the white. Different accents with colors. I’m imagining they’re going to change the adjustability this time around to something more similar to Callaway where it doesn’t manipulate the grip. Stock align with the new ones as well. As for color, I’m thinking yellow accents.

Almost zero chance you'll see that. It doesn't stand out on the broadcasts as being distinctly TaylorMade.

If the earlier poster is right and the name “M” is no longer in use then I would be very surprised if they keep the same two tone look on the crown. Yes they want the drivers to be visible on TV coverage but they also want us to see that it is the new model..

This I agree with and would fit with their past history. I expect we'll still see a carbon crown, but they'll hide the transition from face to crown and make something more distinct on the crown itself.
