New bags - need head covers

I need thoughts, suggestions, links (if applicable) to pair my new bags with some head covers.

 

I’ve got a Ouul Python in black coming for travel/walking round:

 

This bag is still in the box in my basement. It will soon be replacing my old Sun Mountain Hybrid stand bag as it nears the end. This bag will mostly be used for local cart (ride) golf and range time:

I’ve not used knitted in the past. Pluses/minuses with knits? How well do they protect without padding?

Off-the-shelf knits you can find at big box stores are pretty thin and not great at protecting the clubs. Custom covers, like mine from Jan Craig, are very thick. I have no worries that my clubs aren't protected.

 

Pluses:

They are much easier to take off and put on than leather.

They can be made extra long to protect shafts from rubbing up against the bag.

I prefer the look of knots over leather.

They are unique and not nearly as ubiquitous as leather covers.

 

Cons:

They won't protect your clubs from heavy rains like a leather cover would.

They can be damaged more easily (however, they can also be repaired easily).

I've heard that they can stretch out, but given how thick mine are, I can't see that happening any time soon.

If you wanna drop the coin, Lambcrafted has knit pom headcovers up for $175 for driver and 3wood. I just snagged a set and they are super nice. Go down a long ways to protect the shaft from dings.

Seamus are my favorite but more so with the vintage looking bags like the Jones, McKenzie or others that are similar. With those bags I might go with a mix of stock covers and Poms. I have some Stitch pom covers I got used and they held up pretty well, but I have since moved to Seamus. They are great quality and very durable. The Stitch leather covers are very good, too.

If you’re looking at knitted JuJu’s stuff is hard to beat especially for the customization and price.

As others have said Rose and Fire is nice and so is Seamus (if you like barrel covers) but you should also check out Head Gear Golf. I've had his stuff and it as good as any in my book. Check them out I think you will be surprised with the different ones they have available that would match your bag nicely.

Sunfish. Can’t say enough about their customer service. I had a cover starting to tear at the seams after a few months of use, sent them a picture in an email and they sent me an order confirmation for a free replacement. I had the cover replaced in a few weeks. I’ll be buying another set from them this winter after my next bag purchase.

I’m not sure on sunfish. I bought two leather hybrids covers at the same time that I like. They are both red and textured but there is a slight difference in the shade of the color between the two.

 

I later bought a leather three wood cover from them that I thought would match the hybrids. It came smooth and a different shade of red than the hybrids.

I didn’t reach out to them in regards to those issues so I don’t really blame them but I am not currently using the 3 wood cover.

 

I’ve got a set of stitch (driver/3 wood). I don’t use them because the 3 wood cover is extremely difficult to get on my m4 3 wood.

Any specific color combos you guys think would go well with one, the other or both of these bags? Any pics of matching head covers for the color combos of these bags?

Two possible explanations: 1. The covers all fade with use. 2. There are 2 different options for the leather covers, leather and the duraleather.

 

I would reach out to them, you never know...

What colors did you go with? Been thinking about picking these up as well.
