I was wondering the same. I loved the grey finish on the SM6 it was fuller than the shiny grey of the SM7. I can’t quite tell what finish this is. Grey..bronze?

It almost looks like the same bronze finish that the SM5 wedges had.

I really like the black finish (chrome is ok and bronze is just bad) but don't get why they didn't make the 8 white. It looks really bad with just SM in white. Otherwise I really like the look of the black finish but not sure I will buy them with newish black SM7s. More than likely I'll have the itch to buy something in the spring so they'll probably end up in the bag.

Let’s not get worked up about what the wedge looks like from the back. What’s more important is how the leading edge sits and if we will finally get a low bounce k grind available in the standard options instead of it only being an overpriced limited release

The only thing that will keep me from all Mizuno wedges next year is if the low bounce K 60* comes back.

Oil Can would be nice other than Wedge Works only but greed trumps all. Cant believe Titleist pulled Oil Can over brushed steel or jet black

You mean more like 20 caps. They also need 420cc pear shaped drivers because the 460cc drivers that Rory and DJ use don’t fit their eye.

They don’t look bad to me, but at the end of the day I’m sure I’ll have at least one of them in the bag once my 58 deg SM7 grooves wear out. The 46/50/54 degree wedges make it 4+ years in the bag, it’s always the 58 that’s replaced at least every 2 years.

For what it’s worth, couldn’t care less what the back of it looks like, just hoping for a low bounce K to save me 6 hours of screwing around with regrinding the sole.

> Can't understand why people don't like these.....are we really just talking the back of the club? Surely it's about the grinds, playing positioning and feel with a wedge. Anyway they look good to me.

Finding good pics of how clubs look at address seems to be very difficult most of the time. Lots of folks seem more interested in the hood ornament than what's under the hood many times.
