Might want to put that on the website. Probably too late for me since I already placed an order.

Anyone who has tried both the NX7 and NX9, is it worth the extra $$ to get NX9. I am looking to get a range finder with slope next season and looking at these two models. Any feedback is appreciated.

Yes. I had an older range finder without slope and always hated having to guess how much extra club I needed, or didn't. It's one less thing to consider when you're already factoring in wind, your lie, where the miss is, etc. It's piece of mind.

Can you give some highlights on what the podcast said? I've got an old 1600 PInseeker that has served me well, but it's starting to not work every once in a while. It will give me a blank display and I'll have to take out the battery 1-2 times to get it to work again. I've replaced the battery with the same result. I love the magnification and speed of it.

Just wanted to drop a comment on the exceptional customer service. I bought the NX9 Slope a few months ago, and a couple of weeks ago, it fell out of my cart and got a little banged up. It was pretty blurry after, and I sent an email to Precision Pro. They sent me a shipping label and I shipped it back for them to take a look at it. Within a week, I had a new one arrive at my house. Not sure all companies would do that, but just another reason to buy this product.

Overall, NX9 is great, but I am a little disappointed with my NX9 not working early in the morning with a little fog. I understand most scopes wont work in thick fog, but this is very mild fog where I can clearly see the flag and color from 200+ out and my scope reads 20 yards every time... beware if you play early in the mornings or in areas with fog.

I returned mine. I had two problems with the unit. It was almost impossible to have the display in focus at the same time as the rangefinder. One or the other was in focus. The other big issue for me was the slope reading and regular distance displays were out of the field of vision each other because one was at the very top and the other was at the very bottom. Sounds trivial but it was very annoying when you used it. I also had a unit go bad and was hoping the replacement would fix my issues but it didn't.

I just purchased the NX9 HD to serve as my backup rangefinder. Just received it today. Quick question, is the battery usually pre-installed already? I remember that with my other rangefinders, usually there's plastic film between the battery and the battery door contact you have to remove first before using. Mine seems to turn on without needing to remove anything.

Also is there any instruction on how to open the battery door? I don't see anything in the manual. Do you just slide it downward? I tried sliding it down gently, but it seems to be stuck. I didn't want to force it down too hard because I worry that I might break it (though it appears to be fairly steady).

Can anyone post some instructions?

Thanks.

I purchased the NX9 after my son lost my Bushnell. I purchased it through Rock Bottom Golf as it was out of stock on the Precision Pro site. I received it in about 10 days. So far it is great and performs as well as Bushnells that I have had. My only complaint is the mode button is too close to the trigger button. I have inadvertently changed it from meters to yards without realizing it by accidentally holding down the mode button.

I think the button placement is the only real thing I would change on this rangefinder. It cost me a shot once when I had inadvertently switched to meters. But I check that now when I use it. Other than that, it’s a great rangefinder at a really good price.

I got mine late last year and used it for a couple months. I too find that that trying to focus on the flag and then the reading is a little tough. My eyes need to adjust a little between the reading on the bottom and top. The other day it quit reading flags. I took it around to try and read houses across the street and signs and had a tough time registering things. I emailed and I am sending it in tomorrow to get looked at.
