Golf Art Thread

Thought I start a thread for golf related artwork. Unfortunately, there's not much out there, so I decided to make my own. I'm a painter and a golf fanatic, so why not combine my two hobbies? Here's one I just finished of The Mechanic. I chose black and white for this because even though Miguel has a colorful personality I see him as a black and white character: I do what I like and don't do what I don't like. I tried to paint it in a way that actually makes it look better from a distance...I imagine the closer you get to MAJ in life, the more abstract he becomes. Miguel is a reminder to me that we only get one life, so live it how you want and screw the haters.

The painting is acrylic on handmade canvas and frame. 48"x48"

Have you done these before? I remember seeing similar style paintings done by someone that would then get them signed by the athlete.

No this is my first golf-related painting, although getting it signed by the athlete would be really cool. Can't see myself walking around a Champions Tour event with a giant painting though, that would be awkward!
