Replace the discontinued DG XP115 S

I was disappointed to see my most recent favorite shaft was discontinued. I found the xp115 to fit me perfectly.

I had good luck with Nippon 1050s, but they got loose when I was feeling strong, and launched too high. I didn't like the Modus feel. the 1150s were strange and not consistent for me.

Maybe the new DG 120s soft stepped?

These will go in a set of MP-20s.

Try the TT Elevate Tour. Basically the replacement for the XP115.

The Dynalite Gold XP was almost identical in bend profile and weight and you can still get sets for dirt cheap at Hireko golf.

On paper maybe but the TT Elevate Tour felt quite a bit stiffer overall and in the tip vs the XP115.

Agree, really disappointed TT discontinued the XP115, probably the closest direct replacement to the original Dynalite Gold TT has ever made.

 

I can say as a big fan of the XP115 Stiff, I found the PX LZ 5.5 to play similar.

DG 115 soft stepped would be closer than 120, but maybe you should look at AMT Black and go Ascending wgt (mid-high launch profile) ? or the new Elevate Tour? Non of them is 100% like XP 115, but ive seen it many times, a player express his love for a certain model, but end up with something that was not even on the radar that felt and worked way better, so if you are in the marked for new shafts, use this opportunity to try off other options, maybe even a different weight range than you play now.

I agree with Howard,

if you want to stay within the TT line, AMT Black could be a very good starting point. You might really like it, if you`re coming from XP115. Another option could be Nippon Modus 105. I know, the profile is more linear compared to XP115, but since the feel of the Nippon shafts is smoother for most players, chances are high that you might like them.

I went from XP115-S to Modus 120-S. Has been a great shaft for the past 2 years. Might be worth a look.

you could hard step the 1050s

 

I think the original 950s and 1050s are being replaced by the 950 Neos
