Warrior golf balls

I just got a post card from Warrior Golf. They are offering two dozen surlyn golf balls for “free”. What was amazing was they said it was a $100 value.

Is Wrx promoting Warrior Golf now? Just got an email from GolfWrx promoting Warrior Golf's golf balls. That can't be good. It was a quick delete and run from Warrior.

ok, just kidding......i was at a scramble the other day and a company was promoting "eco friendly" golf balls...had all the same claims and they ran a contest on a par 3 that was 195 yards away. get it on the green and get a free dozen.....when i hit the ball flush, it went ~ 170 yards....teed up my TP5 and the same shot hit the front of the green (rolled off), but it flew 25 yards further. Hilarious what these companies claim.

Eco friendly golf ball are good for the environment , only !

Tried some before and they are not measuring up to any of the existing commercial brands.

Years ago, one of the guys from our group called in for the "free" Warrior advance hybrids, paid shipping of $19.99 got two used hybrids, one with jumbo grip on it. Then the relentless phone calls and emails for additional merchandise...... He finally had to change phone number ( blocking feature was none exist back then ).

Received the same email today...have always thought of this site as being high quality and ethical. Understanding Warrior's business model, which is rather questionable, you have to wonder why the owners are choosing to work with them.

I'll echo the other comments above about the WRX-sponsored email promoting Warrior. It's well established what type of operation they have over there, to see WRX actively promoting them is beyond disappointing.

I was also surprised to get an e-mail from Wrx saying I'd been "selected" for the free balls (isn't that a pretty much ongoing promo?) after hearing all the negative stuff about Warrior.

That depends on your definition. If you don't count the bombardment of hard sale tactics from them as a cost, and if you don't give them an credit card info for shipping costs (there are a number of allegations that they charge cards without authorization).

All they have ever tried to do is build up a list of suckers they can call, e-mail or send junk mail to for the rest of their lives, trying to sell them cheap generic golf stuff. I think they have been at it nearly as long as I've played golf, going back to before the Internet age.

Warrior golf is really a time share business that uses free golf equipment as the bait. DO NOT enter your email or any personal info.

So why is Golfwrx sharing our contact info with them knowing their reputation and proven tactics stealing from consumers and charging items to their cards and charging them “restocking” fees?

Apparently so. Probably safest to use "burner" e-mail accounts any time you sign up for forums and such nowadays.

Very true. I did sign up here with a junk account and still try to keep that address pretty clean. Easy to mark it spam I guess.
