M6 was launching a bit lower than m4. M6 was spinning less than m4.

When I was fit for the m4 I was launching 13-14 with spin between 2100 and 2300. I've only done a small test of the m6 on launch monitors. Bought it blind to try when I started losing the m4 right.

I know the m4 is launching higher and spinning higher than when I was fit. I've gotten into a bit of a steepening move (transition has crept fast) on the way down.

I have tried almost all of the new drivers for 2019 except for the G410 which wasn't at Club Champion when I got fit.

By far the best FOR ME was the Cobra F9, Fuji Atmos Black shaft. In terms of overall performance (ball speed, spin, carry distance, forgiveness, etc).

I hit the Flash the fastest, but not nearly as consistent as the F9

M5/6 felt good, but I actually hit my previous M4 better than both at the time.

I have not regretted switching to F9 at all, it's a fantastic driver!

Two players in my groups a 4 and 6 handicap, bought the M6 on faith and were previously using the M4. Both returned to their M4 drivers because of inconsistent results. As a fitter I sell very few M6 drivers compared to the Ping G410 series, the Cobra F9 and Callaway Epic Flash. I offer brand agnostic fittings and these three quite often outperform their competition. Shaft weight is the most important criterion, followed by loft and then flex.

Just because I’ve got the M5 driver and I had the epic with the jail break, I think the ball comes off a little too hot on the jailbreak, I mean between the two it did not feel like it stayed on the face long enough for me if you wanna picture that, but coming from the ping 410 driver I really like the way the ball comes off that M5 driver, if you haven’t hit one you should try with the right shaft.

Tried the G410 and didn't do it for me, returned it. Returned to trusty Ping G. The G400 series do not work for me.

Just picked up a Srixon 785 at 9.5 with HC Hazardous Yellow. It is money. If you're looking demo one. Consistent across the face and a boring flight with a good amount of rollout. It's my favorite driver of this decade.

Love how everyone over looks the ST190.

I also love how I play with people who play the Rogue, Flash, M6s, Pings...

The Mizuno is always the one everyone ends up trying and liking after watching me play from the fairway all day and consistently being the longest.

Best driver I've played had since the 910D2.

It's everything my old 910 was but less spinny and longer.

I am the same way, lol. Looking down at address theres something that doesnt appeal to my eye. How the face meets the crown especially out near the toe. I thought it was only a Callaway thing but I recently noticed some of these cosmetic similarities at address with the Cobra King F9.

I was plying around with the Callaway driver selector. This is what came up.

The Epic Flash SZ is the first Cally driver I've considered since I broke my last FT-9TA (all time favorite). In my humble opinion, nothing since has been worth bagging since. I'd been hearing from all my younger golf buddies how the Epic Flash SZ was the real deal and I should give it a try but never even considered it. So a few weeks ago I cracked the tip on my gamer and borrowed my local pro's driver (Epic Flash SZ 10.5 Tensei 60-S) for a friendly game. After hitting a 10-12 limited flight balls on the range I put it in the bag for the game. The first two drives admittedly were unimpressive. But for the remainders, I was finding my ball in places further and in the fairway than I've ever been in the past 4 years. Needless to say, I became an instant fan and buyer. A college coach at home had a 10.5 SZ 3D at home and a new, uncut, Diamana 60 ZF he was gracious enough to sell me. I can honestly say that after 40 years in golf, this is the best driver shaft combo I've bagged. At 56 years old, I know I'm slowing down but at my last fitting I was averaging a SS of 107. This driver allows me to still compete with the flat belly's and has me back on the Cally driver train again.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

Played my M5 for the first time last week, 10-30 mph winds. Hit the ball very well that day. Most strikes dead middle of face. A couple might have been slightly toe or heel, but still found the fairway.

Only 2 missed fairways. Misjudged the wind on one, thought it would push the ball back into fairway but it flew completely straight. Hit it exactly where I wanted to, but did not get the result I wanted.

The other was completely my fault, pushed it right. Still flew very straight.

So I believe the twist face helped me that day. Purchased a used m5 5wood on b/s/t just to see if it's as good as the driver.

Hello - what shaft are you playing? I'm torn between the KuroKage Silver and the Tensei Orange...

I was at Continental Golf in Raleigh yesterday and they had one of their demos for sale with the black Atmos shaft $355. I guess it was $500 new? Definitely would want to go through a fitting if bought a new one, but my question is if I was fit with the right shaft in my M5 wouldn’t I just go with the same shaft in that club?

I don't see why that shaft wouldn't work just as well in the Mizuno head.

Local Golf shop had a sale on the weekend and my wife bought me an early birthday present - Epic Flash SubZero. Store had new ones still in the wrapper marked down as “demos” so that was a great deal.

This head is loud but very forgiving and straight; and I think it is longer than my Cobra drivers (need to test it more). It came with a HZRDUS Smoke X-Stiff; love the HZRDUS shafts and this one works great with this head. I saw a nice jump in speed and much better dispersion. Had to loft it down to its lowest setting (8*). So my vote goes to the EF SZ. Going back to the store today to get a 3W.

TM Original One is easily the best driver for me this year. This is based purely on left to right dispersion. And it's long enough. Feel/sound are great too. Winner.

I wonder how good this tour head is. People rave about it. And if Jesus Fleetwood is rocking it, there must be something there
