Sorry to keep this on-topic but I was given a package of those markers at a manufacturing convention, they are not as good as sharpies. I had a whole package of the thin point versions on my tool box at home that I can't find a good use for. They don't write on plastic well, they don't write on wood as well and they don't write ever again if they get wet.

 

I don't mark my ball in any way but I do pack around a black, green and red sharpie at work. They do work.

Yeah, I'm Team Red all the way, but an Inkzall rubbed off of some duct tape I was using as a label the other day. A good ol' Sharpie dried up right quick and didn't rub off or smear at all.

Huge fan of Milwaukee power tools, but those markers are horrible. I found a Sharpie pro or something like that, it's way better.

I've tried the Inkzall, but it fades after a few holes. The Inkzall is amazing! When I was interning for my HVAC degree, my first day there the guy I was working with took me straight to Pro-Trade, walked in bought one and handed it to me and said, "you'll never look back." and he was absolutely right!

How did you get the SOB to work? I tried to use it on an AED monthly check tag and it would not write. Good old black sharpie got the job done though.

 

I also could not get the Inkzall to write on wood. I was building a chicken house and could not mark the cuts I needed to make with it.

 

Maybe I got a bad package since I got it for free but I am sure lucky I didn't actually buy the things.
