Northern MO admittedly doesn't have much too much to offer outside of Mozingo Lake, but what would the Missouri members of WRX have for recommendations for sub-$100 rounds that provide quality golf. I'll add the only KC course I've taken in thus far has been Stone Canyon which I did greatly enjoy. It seems it can be hard to find courses with ample amounts of bunkers and water hazards here in the state.

I word of warning, we had some trouble with our practice green. The upper 1/3 of it burned up in the rain/drought/rain period we had. But the rest of the course made it thru the summer pretty well.

The blue tees are just over 6800 yds, the gold tees are about 7100yds.

Never played it, but did watch my son play in a college tournament there. Came away quite impressed. On-site lodging too, if I remember correctly

Well two thumbs up for the course, the staff, the deal we got and the hotel and Spokes.

Not a bad thing to say about anything other than the fairways are pretty tight, the rough is thick and I played prob 3 of the worst rounds of the year haha. Do you find that a lot of your balls roll off the fairway? Maybe it was just not our day but damn seemed like anything we hit rolled for miles.

We really wanna come back next year. One thing that did suck is there were a bunch of like 12 person groups that always got in front of us. Our morning round on the 2nd day they must have all gathered at the cluv house at the turn then headed to 10 because we were moving along just fine, as soon as we finished on the 9th there were like 6 carts sitting on 10, we had to wait for 3 foursomes to tee off. Wish they could do something about not allowing those guys to congregate and keep them moving. Not a course issue though. Another thing is these groups were like obsessed with playing behind each other, all four rounds not one of them let me and my buddy play through, was kinda weird.

One guy suggested that we skip 10 and go to 11 so we werent behind him. I felt like hitting him with my 9iron lol, first off why not just let us play through? You can see your boyfriends when you finish the round, you dont have to play directly behind them. 2nd why should we skip holes cuz you guys might play slow? We came to play 18 holes not 16.

If we come next year I'm gonna ask if there are any large outings and try to get out before them. The 2nd day we just ate lunch in the cart in an effort to get our 2nd round started before these groups went out. Would've liked to sat there for a min and hung out before starting round 2.
