Current greens conditions at Dormie Club?

I have a tee time at the Dormie Club in early November. I heard a rumor that their greens have recently gone completely to crap. Can anyone who has recently played there deny or confirm this before I shell out 175 bucks to play it? Much thanks.

Tom coyne posted a video the other day of the Dormie Club and it didn’t look like anything was in bad shape. Haven’t been there myself.

Thanks, I checked that out. In doing so I also saw a photo on the Dormie Club's twitter feed from Aug. 31 and the green in the pic looked a bit sketchy. I know they have bent grass so maybe some cooler weather in the coming weeks will help with that. I've just heard of people playing it and being really disappointed by the conditions given the price tag. Hoping someone who has played it semi-recently can chime in here.

I haven't played there recently but played it 3-4 times in the past and never once had a conditioning problem. The amount of people that freak out on Dormie Club and it's conditioning is unreal. You'll be fine, the course will be great. It's one of my favorite C&C designs. Enjoy

Not freaking out. Just doing some due diligence. My buddy ran into a group of a guys who played there a few weeks ago who said the greens were in rough shape (after all, they are bent grass greens at the tail end of a hot summer, which happens). And there are plenty of negative reviews elsewhere online about the greens in various other months and years (trip advisor, google reviews, yelp, etc). It seem like it can be hit or miss with the conditions based on what I've seen. So I'm just doing my due diligence before shelling out 175 bucks for a round of golf. Really no different than the thousands of other posts on this site asking about current course conditions for various places.
