I just started playing about 6 months ago. Got fitted and came to realize golf clubs are just like the sneaker culture.

It's definitely similar to the sneaker culture in the putter and golf accessory industry (for limited items) but not so much on the rest of the bag. If you got fitted for those clubs, you should be pretty set for a while.

Very nice--- I always say play what makes you happy. LOL I did not know about the sneaker culture until we got into the thread about Brooks Kopeka's golf shoes. Now courtesy of the fine minds at WRX I know what a "sneakerhead" is now---- Overall I say you started excellent for being new to the game

Thanks man. I'm not even gonna lie, the comments on the random FB posts I would see about Brooks' off-white golf shoes were everything I thought they would be. "Why is Brooks wearing Off-white shoes that are black?" Hahah I think its awesome that he's doing what he can to modernize the game, at least the apparel part of it.

Definitely crossed my mind. But forcing myself to get good enough came into play as well.

Thanks! It was actually between the Mizuno 919 or TM p760 for me when I got fitted. The P790s are gorgeous as well!
