Been years since I have posted a WITB so figured time for an update! Just got a new bag and cleaned clubs so what better time then now!

 

 

 

 

**Driver:** Ping G400 LST 8.5* with Tour Stiff 65

 

 

 

 

**3 Wood:** Titleist 915Fd 15* with HZRDUS Smoke 70g 6.0

 

 

 

**Hybrid:** Titleist 816H2 19* with Diamana 90X

 

 

 

**4 Iron:** Titleist 716 TMB with Project X 6.5

 

 

**5-PW Irons:** Titleist 690MB with Project X 6.5

 

 

 

**8 Iron:** Yes Yes I know I have two 8 irons in the bag, the second one is a Mizuno MP18 with a Project X 6.0 still can't decide if I want to ever upgrade irons!

 

 

**Wedges:** Probably going to change over winter to a 52 & 56 but for now I am rocking the Mizuno S18 54* & Vokey WW 60 K grind S400

 

 

 

 

**Putter:** My baby, one of if not my favorite putter I have ever used and I have used it for the longest time. Piretti Potenza 2 375g 36"

 

 

 

 

**Backup Putter:** Wet and slow green putter only used about 20% of the time. Scotty Cameron Circa 62 #3 Raw carbon steel 36"

 

 

**Golf Ball:** Kirkland Signature Original 4 Piece

Great looking clubs.

 

I don't want to highjack the thread but, out of interest, is the grass in the copper weight on the driver/marking of the tail of the head normal with the G400 or a result of mishits do you think?

 

I ask because I just picked up a G400 Max and played it for the first time over the weekend. On a couple of holes I felt the tail of the head touch the ground during the shot and I also had grass caught up in the copper weight. I've never had that before, but I have just upgraded from a 20 year old 300cc driver with a deep but compact head.

 

The two shots were my straightest drives of the day and they were reasonably long, but I felt like I lost some distance.

 

Do I just need to tee it up higher?

Thanks and no worries I hit down on the driver a little instead of hitting up so that could be why I have some grass stuck in there. I have noticed the G400 needs to be teed up higher then my older Titleist though

haha good question and I have been testing out the MP18 and trying to decide if I wanted to upgrade. MP20, 620MB are both possibilities now though

Honestly not much in feel. Mizuno goes a little farther due to the loft being stronger in this day in age. Still not enough feeling to make me switch yet! I need to go hit the new mp20, 620mb and the blueprint
