What are the specs of your DD201WB?

O.K., if I read you correctly your incoming L Blade will be 5 grams heavier and 2* more upright than your existing L Blade.

Actually the L Blade is 5 gr lighter than the DD201WB which is fine and I don’t notice. With the lie, the L-Blade has a rounded sole which means I can tilt the putter to a lie that fits. Same with the DD201WB that has a softened tri-sole.

Once I got a putter fitting in a store who gave me the specs I use in the DD201WB, however they made me buy a big hideous mallet that never worked. The L-blade Flange was an experiment between Kari and I, this is the only putter he had made in this style so that’s what resulted and it works or perhaps I adjusted to those settings ?

At the end of the day, the new putter has to be the same design/specs but St.St. It will be easier to him to make and easier to me to use.

O.K. , I think I understand now that your two L-Blades will have the same specs (355 grams, 69* lie, 3* loft) , so that the difference between the two L-Blades is that one is carbon, the other stainless.

My two Sensor's are the same specs (approximately 325 grams, 71* lie, 4* loft, 35.75" length), with one in carbon, the other stainless. Due to fertilizer and morning dew conditions, my stainless putters get played 10X more than my carbon putters.

Thanks, I played 18 yesterday with it. Love the weight and the look at address. Slightly firmer feel than my betti ss 2 but still soft.

It was an eBay purchase and the seller said it was refinished by NorCal.

Thanks. I emailed Kari for more info about the putter and he said to send some pictures his way. Right now all I know is it carbon steel, 359g, but don’t know if it was a custom, or when it was made or anything of that nature.

I think the reason your new putter took 3 months is due to all the detail work required. I received my Lajosi putters within a month of having placed the order, but mine are basic , near stock specifications with no welding or engraving or extra milling etc...

Absolutely, and I'm not complaining. The neck definitely took some extra time as did the custom signature on the face (I had to send Kari a signature that he then had to send to someone else to get an exact program file to have it lasered into the face).

Kari just wrote me back. Sensor widebody, carbon steel, has definitely been refinished, would have been oil can or gun blue originally. He did say this one was one first putters her ever made, pretty cool!

The reason I asked is because I've got a Sensor on order.

The reason I asked is because I have a Sensor on order. Just getting a bit over excited following this thread!

What are the specs for your Sensor order ? Again, my guess is that welding, engraving, unique milling, particular finishes etc... are the factors that may add to the time needed for putter production.

Yep, it was 366g (I like them a little heavier). Model is Bayswood v2.

Lajosi uses a .370" tip in his putters right? What putter shafts did you guys go with? I can tell you my favorite shaft has been the True temper YSC, which is stepped and 120g (37" uncut) but is only available in .355". Any suggestions for a very similiar, high recommended shaft in .370?

I'm looking for something either the same weight or just slightly heavier (up to 130g uncut for 37"). Thanks.

Take a look at the XXIP range from NS Pro. Comes in 2 tip sizes and 2 weight options per tip size. Very good shafts. Great feel and feedback. I have this is majority of my putters.
