How rare is this. A few months ago I came across it and didnt think much of it.

I wanted to build brysons putter since i sucked at putting and its really helped me so I tried to find another one with no luck.

Sold quite a few of those back in my "running a custom build shop days" it retailed for around $250 and was stiff as all heck. Not crazy rare but by no means something you will find pop up too often in the general golf market place.

But aftermarket putter shafts are gaining speed and another still graphite option would be from Accra and they retail around $100, just have to know which to get from their 4 options and you can customize the shaft to any color you want.

I have an old original Aldila 130X hybrid shaft.. might make a cool green looking putter shaft, no?

If you’re familiar with those shafts, who would use a 180g putter shaft? Why would someone go that heavy?

I'm not super familiar with them, I'm trying to do more research/reading on them as aftermarket putter shafts are becoming more common and more interesting with what they can do.

 

As for the 180g that will mainly be for arm lock users who need the weight. Their 125g and 135g would be more suited for your traditional putter setup.
