Has anyone heard anything else about the CB proto pictured earlier in thread? I was expecting those to be released as well, holding out for a set......were those rumors for the CB false, as there is only this MB coming out right now?

Hard to tell from the images...but is this more of a "Small Blade" derivative or MB-001/Tournament Blade?

 

I guess it looks a little more "Small Blade" but that might just be wishful thinking on my part.

I don't think its a small blade given they launched the redesigned Baby Blade in limited quantities earlier in the summer. I'm sure there will be another release later in the year for those.

 

The 101s look like a refined, improved version of the 001..could be a little more compact though. either way, they look great

Yea I don’t really see much difference between the y grind tournament blades and the new TB-901. If anyone can enlighten me on said differences that would be nice.

Just looking at the MB 101 pictures for over a week now , and for me it goes to prove how hard it is to best the MB 001.

However, I don't think they are targeted at guys (and gals) that are currently playing a Miura Blade.

 

My opinion, they are targeted at a broader audience, new business for Miura, not existing. Existing business conversions are a bonus and cherry on top!

 

I think you'll see a lot of new Miura guys around the courses next year.

TB 901 are the LH version of the MB 101.

I know the TB-901 and MB-101 are the same, TB is left-handed while MB is right-handed.

Cb-801 is just a rebadged CB with y grind. Not 1008

Are the cavity protos dead? I was thinking those would be Sept release from the teasers....haven't heard anything. Does anyone have any updates on that model?

Got a chance to hit the 101 (7 iron only). Feel and look great. I usually spin blades a lot more but with these I was able to keep the 7 iron spin under 7k and have a nice penetrating flight.

Cb will be after the first of the year and the baby blades will be released in December. The mb101 is the mb001 replacement and is intended for low to mid handicaps.

I'm hoping these look a bit more like the Protos in the short irons. The pics from today look a bit chunky. Still excited for them though.
