E6 Speed. Modern day brick

Got a dozen for £12 off interweb. Planned to use these as winter balls. But....way too hard and fall out of the sky. Is my 92-95 mph driver speed too low as these feel like 20 year Top Flites and not in a good way. Shocking durability as well. Caveat Emptor springs to mind...

I played the e6 speed for a few holes last year. I couldn’t take it. It was too dang hard for me unless it was warmer than 90 degrees out.

Bridgestone never should have messed with the old E6. It was a great ball as it was. Changing it to two separate lines really was a mistake IMO.

Bridgestone always advertised the old E6 as a soft core ball with a spin control mantle. When they bifurcated that’s E6 line into Speed and Soft models, it logically followed that the Soft would probably be like the old E6 and the Speed would be a firmer pure distance version. So I guess I’m not sure why anyone would be surprised that it’s firm.
