I may be way off base here. But I have a set of Mizuno MP-59s. Now imagine digging out the titanium or tungsten insert. They would have a triangle shaped hole just like those.

Random observation.

Love Miura! Wonder what they will retail?

I just do not like seeing sharp angles like those have . Older miuras were like works of art, smooth lines.

The top iron from the Miura pic makes the sole/cavity look like it could be really big though.

have you tried the CB 2008's? I was hoping to confirm the difference in performance in CB 1008 vs 2008?
