I replaced a 16 M2 with the M4 and have regretted it ever since. I have never really been able to get it dialed in and it seems to go way right when I put a bad swing on it. The M2 felt better and was more point and shoot. The M4 is just the opposite but still in my bag. If you don’t mind the white, there are plenty of new 17 M2’s around and I’m sure the M6 will soon be reduced, just not to the level of the M4.

The M2 outperformed the M4 for me and also for several of my buddies that are huge TM fans with nothing but TM in the bag. 2 of them went back to the M2 and the other one has changed shafts in his M4 about 5 times trying to find something that works.

Interesting. I use to buy 2 or more drivers a year. I’ve had the m4 in the bag for almost 2 yrs. great driver. I also have the 3-wood, 3 & 4 hybrids.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but what do you mean by a right bias?

switched from 2017 M2 to the M4...mine is a tour issue head that had gotten some hot melt, etc. I found it had a much more solid/firm feel off of the face, definitely less satisfying on most strikes, but the face seems much more hot than my M2 was. I recently took it to hit on a monitor vs the M6 and they were very similar in ball speed, spin...main difference being the M6 launched higher than optimal for me so I lost a bit of distance there. Hoping to pick up a tour issue M6 when the 2020 TM drivers come out and the M6 prices drop.

So would this driver help someone that consistently hits a fade or slice?

It's more likely to exacerbate that left to right shot.

Ahh I see. That’s a constant problem for me.

You could try the upright lie setting. That calmed the right miss down a bit. You could also close the face. Really depends on if your slice is more face or path related.

I think part of my issue in the past is swinging a shaft that's been too stiff.

That can lead to a steeper transition move that can exacerbate a fade/slice as well.

I really liked the m4. In the 8.5 head during a fitting I had the highest balls speeds I have ever had with Any driver.

I disagree.

For me, i find that the direction it goes it dependent on my swing. I’ve hit fades, slices, hooks and draws with it. It is as long as anything I’ve hit and it’s as forgiving as most.
