I am a tinkerer but this is my current set up. Just coming back after a couple years off. 10 years off before that so needless to say I spend a lot of time on here dreaming about what to try next. Turns out pics will follow as I didn't realize it changes the aspect ratio.

Finally got around to taking a pic Sunday but in true Golfwrx fashion its already out of date. Going to try something a bit different and try a gap wedge that more closely resembles my irons. 50 degrees was a pitching wedge not all that long ago anyway Picked up a Apex Pro16 A wedge today with a PX 6.0. Figured it should play daily close to the PXI 6.5 in my irons. I still think we need to loose the numbers and go the way Hogan has and just put lofts on the clubs. also dropped the SC Golo3 and put in the DDL+ a few months ago.

Still working on my wedges but it think I'm close now. Got rid of the Vokey and found a MD2 Tour grind 54/11 with the PXI 6.5 that i have in my irons. Also love the slate finish, not because i like rust but because i can refinish it to raw at any point and it looks almost new. This one was $50 in the used bin. Only problem now is i don't know where to go next. The 3 wood is really the only suspect.

WRXitis kicked in and bam new bag. 770 4-p and MG, 50, 54,and 58. Evnroll ER2 went in a few months ago.

Two years off, time to turn it over. Wedges are still the bag though. Two first for a former golf pro, first set of Mizuno and first irons with graphite.

So far really well. Might try a lower spinning ball, hitting them much higher, not something I’m used to. They feel awesome though

I’m giving up on keeping this current. I may be close to the top on swap per round ratio. Honestly can’t remember the last time i have all the same clubs in the bag for 2 rounds in a row

Back to SC. Kind of digging the wrist lock grip. Screwing around with the driver today. Thought it was good at neutral with the new shaft. It’s really good 1 click lower, I’m afraid to even straighten the grip. By the way this is my hoofing set up. Don’t take anything i dont need so the 5 iron and 3 wood stay home.

Nice setup! How is that ES21 wedge doing for you? Very interested but heard different things about feel, from great to hollow and clicky.

I dont notice that it feels all that bad. Ill probably put a prosoft insert in it just because i always use them. Performance has been awesome. My short and chipping game flat out suck and bunker game is decent. That said in the last 2 rounds I have chipped in twice with it and holed out a bunker shot. I bent it to 59 and the bounce just seems to fit me perfect.
