Hello! I've been playing golf approx 30 years since I was 10 or 11. I played on the HS team, but from around college to a couple years ago I really only played a few times a year, sometimes only once on father's day. I've played a lot more in the last few years and noticed that my game has improved and gotten more consistent, and back to where I was score-wise in High School. My clubs are a good 20+ years old hand-me-downs from my brother but I think it's finally time to get a new set over the winter and be ready for the start of golf season again in the spring. My current set are Tommy Armour 845s 3-PW with graphite shafts, but I'm missing the 5, 7, and SW so I'm using the even older set I had of Ping Eye 2 berylliums steel shafts for those. I like my driver, Taylor Made R11S, and have a Callaway Razr Edge 3h, though I'd probably be open to a newer driver if I could find a deal.

 

I'm heavily eyeing the Taylor Made M4s, mostly for their current price but also it's one of the only modern clubs I've hit at the store and liked how they felt. Who's got TMs and what do you like or dislike about them?

Glad you are getting back into the game! I also had a good ten year stretch where I didn't make to the course with any frequency but luckily I moved to a house two minutes away from the range and have been able to get out a lot more often.

 

I gamed M4 steel shaft irons for a while and was very happy with them. I was still getting out the rust in my swing and they were very forgiving. My friend has some connections and was able to get me a great deal on some M6's recently or else I'd still have them in the bag.
