Anyone using hi toe big foot ?

Upgrading my wedges and was interested in the big foot hi toe in a 58* going to do a cbx2 in 54 and have a pm grind 58 right now

yep its amazing!! haven't found a lie yet I can't hit out of....its close to impossible to shank this wedge. I haven't used it for a full swing and dont plan to, so I cant provide feed back there..... but anything around the green this guarantees me ill be putting on the next stroke

 

spin isn't the greatest , but it does a great job getting the ball up to land soft . I play primarily early mornings when its still wet and this has been a lifesaver for me and the hi bounce. Ive actually found it does such a great job making clean contact that I'm flying the ball farther than I should to get it close. obviously that's an adjustment fix on my part, but its so good at producing good shots

Why not go with the CBX2 in 58?

Not against that, was just very interested in the BF especially with 15* bounce

I have a 58 Bigfoot. I use it for all types of shots. It’s main strength is bunker shots. Very easy out of the sand. On full shots, my Shot Scope tells me I’m averaging 79 yards with it and I usually have better results with it using a full swing than my 54 using a 3/4 swing. I feel it has a nice look at address and it’s more than one trick pony (bunkers)

I switched from 58 pm grind to 58 bf and haven't looked back

From some YouTube reviews, right lies aren’t a problem. I need/ want something for both wet and tight lies. I’m really thinking about a big foot.

wide soles like that never have worked for me. The PM '19 grinds are almost too wide for me but the grind helps me play them.

I am going to go ahead and get a Bigfoot. Selling my MG2 60 for this. I loved the MG2 wedge in 54, just not good enough for the 60. I need more help.

I think it works amazing for tight lies. The leading edge is great and slides right under. I who have a problem with blading being an 18 handicap have not bladed a single shot with the BF. 2 thumbs up from this guy.

Honestly I have one time in really wet packed sand that the sole just got stuck in but thats it. I do not play it for full shots but just 50-60 and in where I need to carry over something or play out of the bunker.

I've used it on a dry day and one of the wetter morning courses in SOCAL. On the dry / tight lies, no thank you. On the wet lies, sure thing. All day. Get that little wet noodle shaft out of it though. if you use heavier shafts on your iron set.

Very forgiving and surprisingly easy to hit from tight lies.

But as mentioned before, not the highest spinning wedge.

I can give an initial review after numerous short game practice sessions. I live in AZ and the short game area I use (Longbow GC) has varied lies, but mostly tight lies. The bunker has been wet and compacted.

 

I have seriously struggled with my short game and went to the HT BF out of desperation. Perfect candidate for this wedge really.

 

I practiced with this wedge from mostly tight (ish) lies trying various shots to include high soft to low spinners to chipping to pitching. This thing delivered just as advertised... seriously! No digging at all and the bounce gave lots of confidence to go after it. Yes, it does not skin like a rusted TM MG2 wedge, but it’s still good. I was even able to open the face on some short grass and hit it higher and soft.

 

Like most say, it shines out if the bunker. Again, the bunker was wet and compacted and I could open the face and hit it high out of the bunker. I was impressed!!!

 

Hit 5 full shots and impressed with that also. I will

post more reviews after playing some rounds with it.

 

I am a big fan of the Bigfoot.

I tried one. Impossible to fat, but not great if you want to open the face AT ALL. The leading edge rises up a lot.

I respectfully disagree. I tried it from tight grass and a bunker and it worked good.

This looks interesting, I saw one the other day in a players bag.

My Edel wedges have a very large amount of bounce, I think from memory around 27 degrees of bounce on the 58.

They don't have the same very wide sole, but work great out of any lie.

I play Edel also but my friend got a big foot and grinded it down some and it looks good.
