Putting Coach

I am looking at getting a putting instructor and looking for recommendations from the group. Who are you guys using? Are they a putting/short game specific instructor or do they do everything?

Where do you live? Since that will impact who I might recommend. For example, my putting coach is David Orr who is in North Carolina. He coaches a lot of tour players.

 

If you live in Upstate New York, you might want to check out John Graham. While he is not my coach, I know him and his work, and think highly of him. We are both from the Rochester, NY area.

I’m in Missouri BUT if they offer online lessons I would take those. Just want to work with a good putting coach.

Orr doesnt have online lessons but has a package to say at Pine Needles and half day lesson. Fly into Raleigh

I'd check out Potters Putting, he does online lessons via the Skillest App. I follow him on Instagram and he puts out some good content.

The main people I go to for putting coaching and advice are David Orr, Preston Combs, Justin Blazer, Jeff Smith and Phil Kenyon. There's more that I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

My pick would be either David Orr or Stan Utley. I recently had got some advice from Jay Haas that has transformed my putting. It was what he’d learned from Utley and he recommended going to see Stan. Finally understanding how Crenshaw and Faxon just left the putter head crash back down into the ball, no added power.
