I will give you a more detailed post soon... I haven't hit mine on trackman yet but I will be Friday. Hit the SC's maybe.. 6 weeks ago on the sim so I'll have a bit of data.

I'll need to get the lofts checked on these because I'm like 99% sure some are off... but just as far as feel/sound & looks go, the Miura's are better.

 

For the SC I only hit the 7i, but I wasn't super impressed given the Mizuno name. On decent strikes they feel okay but it wasn't "special". The CB Miura 7i that I have feel extremely solid, but still soft at impact. It makes a subtle but still pronounced THUD (especially with my MB 9i and PW) at impact, where the SC felt/sounded less solid.

 

I did notice that my Miura's spin like an absolute mofo compared to the SC though. Again... might be all my lofts are jacked up, but they spun so much that I may have to make a ball change if the lofts are actually on point. The SC had more ball speed, less spin but does not feel as good as Miura. In fact, nothing I've ever hit or played had felt like a Miura. Older Mizzy irons are soft, but the feeling at impact is a bit dull because of the extreme softness. The CB somehow was soft but solid all at once, with the MB even more so. Totally unique feeling.

Look like slightly modified CB-201, which were incredible irons. But now they will have conforming grooves.

 

I wish these were available right handed. These look much better than the CB-57.

Placed an order of CB 801 4-PW. Cannot find any specific 801 reviews but since it's similar to old one I hope I will be satisfied!

 

Edit: Now been to range 2 times and played 2 rounds. Absolutely love the feel and consistency. Not as soft as my previous Mizuno MP54 but more solid - hard to explain but a clean hit with the Miuras just feels "more". Can really recommend.

Took a while to get used to +0.5 length. I can only say the feedback and feel of these are incredible and what I can judge the forgiveness as well. Anyone else playing them?

Hello I have the older cavity back heads Left Handed if anyone is interested as I just bought the CB-801. I was going to customize the older version but then this 801 came out.

The ones I have to sell are still brand new never hit and are just the heads of the cavity back Miura's LH. Please let me know if you or anyone is interested.

Anyone have an update on how forgiving the CB801’s are? I am an 8 handicap and want to know if I can realistically play these or not.
