Greyson Clothiers

Recommended Posts

I've been seeing more and more Greyson on tour and being worn by celebs. At this point I can't find it anywhere near me to actually be able to get a look at it up close and see the quality of the material. But I do like the looks I see on TV and social media. For those of you that have tried them out, give me your unbiased opinion if you would about the good AND the bad. I'm a big RLX fan and I know that the founder of Greyson had a big hand in their RLX line before moving on. I know that they must feel like they've got a great product based on the high end cost of their clothing. Trying to decide if I should take the leap! Cheers!

I have several Greyson shirts and also sat with them and went thru their line at the PGA Show last year. It is very nice stuff. They have some wild designs but also some very basic solids and stripes. I like it a lot. They have some very nice sweaters and outerwear as well. I'd say take the leap and buy a few of their sale shirts directly from their site. You won't be disappointed.

I was/ still am a huge RLX fan and have started adding Greyson pieces over the last 2 years. Their stuff is awesome. Definitely overpriced, but awesome. Their pants and shorts run a little big in the waist in my opinion. I am usually a 34 no matter the MFG but Greyson's 34's have a bit of room for me. I will say their pants and shorts are almost stain proof. I have a pair of shorts that are mostly white and I hit a mud ball this summer that covered the shorts in mud spray. I used a spray bottle from the clubhouse with just water in it and all of the mud came right out. The shorts were dry again before I finished the next hole.

Their golf shirts and sweaters are also great.

They make a great line of stuff. At full price; yeah it's probably a bit on the high side. They do run sales though, and their stuff is easier to find now than it was a few years ago. I find the fit of the polos/ 1/4 zips and outerwear to be similar to RLX in terms of the shoulders and length. I find the polos to have slightly wider arm holes, and be a touch wider in the body than RLX polos. The quality and finishes of their stuff is great, especially the shorts as mentioned above.

I love Greyson and pretty much whatever they put out. Its way over priced like some have mentioned, but sale shop it and theyre great! I wear RLX also always loved it. Imo Greyson & RLX are the two best doing it. With Greyson getting the edge quality wise.

I've been able to find some Greyson polos at a Marshall's (Beverly Hills) for $25-$30 and they're my favorite polos. Quality is great and at that price it's a steal. I'm not sure I'd pay what they want on their site, but certainly if they run a sale I'd look at picking up some because they have some very nice styles and as I said I'm super happy with the quality. I've found I had to size down a bit to a Small when I'm normally a Medium in most things so keep that in mind perhaps.

Count me as a fan of the styling. On their polos the thing I like most are the slightly more structured collars. I size down in nearly every golf brand for polos - I like things fitted, no floppy sleeves - and greyson is no exception. Quarter zips are pretty solid; took my regular size there.

Their website is crap IMO. One picture per product, limited product descriptions that talk more about form than function, and some no description at all. You want me to pay $495 for a sweater then I expect you at least to tell me what it's made of and show what it looks like on a model (maybe I have too high of expectations).

Customer service is iffy. I've sent over product questions twice. Once they responded within about a day and a half. The other took nearly 2 weeks.

Just a heads up Greyson has a up to 80% sale going on right now. Great way to try the brand or grab a few polos. Cant lose regardless

Love Greyson! Just be aware their fit on polos is a bit large. I'm an XL in Greyson and XXL in most other brands.

Weird. I find they fit about a half size smaller than normal. Somewhere between Nike athletic fit/RLX and Nike standard fit. Definitely a half size smaller than UA or Adidas. Slightly smaller than Johnnie-O which is about perfect fit for athletic builds. This is mostly in the length of the sleeves and tightness of the torso. Pullovers run a half size bigger than Peter Millar or something like UA which is weird. I don't like how their jackets fit at all.

Does anyone have the Greyson Koko hoodie? If so, how does it fit? Do you only dry clean it? Thanks

I have the Koko hoodie and it fits a bit large to me. I'm a small and like clothes fitted. Its definitely a US small compared to European small which means it's a bit more roomy. I've only worn it once so I haven't washed it yet. But I intend to wash it on the wool setting of my washing machine.

I also have the RLX cashmere hoodie which is supposed to be machine washable. Might be an option if you don't want to dry clean.

Anyone have the GREYSON COMANCHE SHEPHERD VEST and able to describe the fit? Thanks
I am normally a large in everything in Peter Millar except their vests where I need an XL due to my height 6'3 for reference. thanks
