I was just about to post this when I saw the price that low. I am stocked up on golf balls but still bought 10 dozen because I can't turn away from my favorite golf ball at that low of a price. I commend Wilson for even letting their tour ball be discounted that low. Excellent ball at 40 bucks a dozen but a no brainer at $15.96 a dozen and every bit as good as anybody's tour ball.

As nice of a deal as this is it's hard to beat the deal that Budget Golf had a few years back when they unloaded truckload after truckload of Wilson FG Tour blems (at times with free shipping) for under $10/dozen. Never saw a blemish on them. While not as great a deal as the Woot TM ball deal years back but a great deal none the less.

You may not be able to see a blemish on them but something was wrong with the ball that it didn't pass the QC tests so blemished or X Out balls shouldn't be considered a "deal" in the same class as balls that passed the QC inspection. I have seen Pro V X outs for 24 bucks but you will NEVER see the ones that passed QC for that price. Comparing a blemished or X out to a ball that passed QC is not an apples to apples comparison. That being said I would have still bought and played them had I seen that deal and just used them in casual rounds no doubt!!

The cosmetic blems were absolutely fine, and not x-outs, which can't be played in tourney rounds. Blems are more comparable to Practice balls than x-outs. They were an amazing deal, as are the $15.95/dozen balls. If offered at the same time at those prices I'd probably get a mixture of both, but when the blems were sold by Budget, the tour balls weren't $15.95.

Thanks for posting the sale! I've wanted to try these for awhile now, but I never could find them for a good price or I was too late to get in on a deal.

From what I remember about those blem balls is that they weren't really blems. Its just that Wilson and other companiees will sometimes do that to protect retailers since they don't want to be seen selling first quality merchandise at such a reduced cost to protect those retailers that still have inventory of the non-blem marked balls.
