I would have to give up a parking spot in the garage (and of course pay for it) so unfortunately I doubt Santa will be delivered this to me.

Wow. The Par Package is a great deal I think (comes with GC quad vs 2 for the Birdie Package). If I had the space I'd get that and then buy a 65 incher (so cheap now) to display on the side. Projectors are higher maintenance, power hunger, and wash out in lights or during the day. Playing against a projector has never helped me prepare for a real course anyway. The only thing is the Par Package doesn't come with club analysis add on I don't think. Which would be a bummer if you have a GC quad but no detailed club analysis. Arguably if you get the club add on it's still a better deal than the Eagle, since it leaves you 4000 dollars to get a projector and screen.

Looking further, I'd go for the Black Friday Special for 17000 which includes a GC Quad with Club Analysis and 8 Courses, then add on the BOGO St. Andrews and Pebble Beach premium courses, and then add in some more regular courses just for fun. Wow. Some extra for mat and net of your choice, and I think for a little more than 20k you can have a pretty rocking setup.

For the majority, I would say it’s overkill unless you are teaching with it or generating some other form of revenue.

if you are just looking to play, go with a Skytrak and purchase the other stuff separately. Haven’t looked at the price of software lately, but I would almost bet you could get in for under $5K. Still not cheap, but much more reasonable for a at-home setup.

You can get a very workable setup for much less. Start with a skytrak and DIY everything else, it's not difficult.

I willing gave up the parking spot and haven't regretted it. Even when we get a lot of snowfall, being able to play during the winter is awesome.
