I'm hearing it could possibly be from a small boutique jdm company called grindworks where a couple of their founders had strong epon links a long while back. Reed was the initiator of the contact with Grindworks.

Not a bad looking set of irons. Is his logo that of a Phoenix rising? Has he suffered so from his upbringing?? One would think if he hates his parents and upbringing so much one would change one's name and start anew. Not stamp one's name all over one's tools.

Yeah those look cheap to me. The Forged font and Patrick Reed cursive font aren't doing it for me. Golfsmiths old pro forged irons look cleaner than these With a similar back profile

If this was literally any other tour winner (Major as well) there would be zero criticism of these. People just love to hate him, I personally like him and think his personal life shouldn’t be anyone’s business but his own. Especially because he doesn’t or has not brought it up, his alleged college behaviour fine go for it.

They could say Tiger Woods and I'd still call them ugly. The name font, forged font, and logo don't match, and it looks like the CNC machine quit halfway through the muscle.

I'm not a fan of how it looks as well but being from GrindWorks and having hit a few of their models, Im sure the feel will be sublime.

That said, while some of their models do look different, a few look great to my eye at least.

Agree with all of this - I'm also not understanding the mixture of chrome and satin finishes and what they were going for with the two thick cut-out / accent lines. It looks like a college project in autocad. But good luck to patrick and I hope they work well for him, there are plenty of effective golf products with bad aesthetics.

That "forged" font definitely looks very similar to my old Golfsmith Forged Professional Grind blades font. Man that was a great set of irons, I believe Verplank used to play them.
