Kirk Currie Pro-Fit Putter Fitting System

Stole one on eBay, do you like yours?

After watching it for a 10 day eBay auction I stole a Kirk Currie Pro-Fit Putter Fitting system. It's a only a few months old, though it came with only the tools - loft/lie vise, fitting putter, Ocular tool and the bending bar (no demo putters) I am pretty excited about adding it to my shop. It's not quite as nice as the Master-Fit system but it bends loft & lie and has the same fitting tools. Kirk Currie has produced some pretty nice putters over the years and the fitting system is used by some top fitters/instructors.

Do any of the clubmakers and/or instructors out there have any experience with the KC system (either one) and how do your customers like it. Thanks

I'm curious to this system...you''ll have to post some pics of it when you receive it in your shop. I was looking at the system on the Kirk Currie site this morning...looks great.

Here are the pics from the eBay listing, has all of the fitting tools and the bending vise just not the demo putters. I have already had some requests for fittings from current clients so I think it's a good pick up and I will definitely check and adjust all of my putters as well.

I looked up the auction...wow what a deal!!!

I wish I had that setup in my garage.

Thanks, I'm pretty psyched. I had expected to pay (and had bid) a lot more but that's how the bay is some times. It wasn't in the clubmaking products section so I don't think as many people saw it which helped out with the bidding. I already have several customers waiting for fittings so it will probably pay itself off rather quickly.

We use one in our shop and its fantastic. Its funny watching people line themselves up for a putt then you use the the ocular tool and show them just how far off they actually are.

You would not be the first person to take what you bought and "modify" it with the name of another brand of putter that will "fit" the system. I have seen some do such with their own name.

I don't plan on changing anything to be honest, I have been speaking with Rick at KC and will be ordering a set of (6) demo putters to have on hand. I will also be marketing the KC brand name as well. The KC system works with all putter brands - it's just a bending vise and fitting tools and many of the players on tour that have been fit by KC don't use KC putters. I think the Ocular fitting tool and the fitting putter are of better design than comparable designs from other vendors, the bending vise is basically the same as other's out there. I was just fortunate to get this great system at a great price, I am a great KC advocate and am actually in the process of changing my gamer over to one of their models. Thanks for the post.
