IMHO from looking at it, I don't think it's even a Cameron, looking at the following:

The "Titleist stamping" on face does not look right, the angle and the "st" does not seem right

The bumper engraving looks off

Of course the most obvious, the sole, this is a Studio Stainless Steel model, it would have been engraved on bottom

The engraving on sole, three different sizes,,,

**_CANNOT_** be 2007 or 2008, according to the Cameron archive site,,,, https://www.scottycameron.com/putter-archive/ ,,,,,, in 2005 the Studio Style with the insert had been introduced

Where did you get this ?

So someone went crazy stamping (or engraving) different sized skulls/jesters and doing an incredible paint-fill on a basic Newport beach? I understand if it was just done as a custom job because that's what the original person wanted but don't understand why someone would spend the time and money to do this otherwise.

I think it’s legit but has been sanded down. As far as I know, this model hasn’t been faked. They fakes started with the Studio Style line.

Reason ? $$$$$ there is websites where you can get counterfeit Cameron Industrial covers for $20, real ones go for over $100, they also have Cameron counterfeit putters,,,,

I understand, but there's no CT stamp so it's still just a Newport beach worth only a couple hundred bucks at best so why? The whole because $$$$$ doesn't make sense.

My original question in this thread has gone off track but maybe not in a bad way. I'd still like to hear input from others much more knowledgeable on this than I am! I can take and post more pics from different angles if that will help.

Well, you can always send it for a C.O.A and remove **ALL** doubts. Who knows, you may have something rare.

Or you end up with a COA that states it’s a Cameron OTR putter with aftermarket stamping...

This one is easy and isn't worth sending in. Like others have said, it is an OTR with aftermarket work. Anyone can get a stamp made and someone went crazy with some stamps. If you like it, it is a cool gamer and I'm sure there will be plenty that like it. With the top line as a skull, I wouldn't touch it for $50 but someone would. Probably weighs in the 320 or less neighborhood with the sole shaved.
