I've always been a fan of Iomic grips and wanted to try the No1 grips....I wasn't a fan. The ridges are pointier and deeper and didn't feel that good to me. They felt like a gummy z-cord if that makes sense. The z-cord is very "sharp" feeling in the hands, and the No1 had the same feeling, except in a gummy way. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone. They felt like there was too much torque and twisting for my liking.

I play a No1 in my 60 wedge. It's probably the best grip for no glove people, but I concur in that in the 'too much torque' comment. In reality, there's too much torque with our gloves, our finger pads, or our skin for that matter. They're great grips, but I'd suggest trying one before going all in.

I've kept it in my 60* strictly for feel purposes.

Exactly...make sure you try one before buying a bunch...just like Z-Cord can feel way too harsh for some and Winn Dri-tacs can be way too soft. No1 grips have a very distinctive feel compared to others. Personally, they weren't for me, but I play Z-Cords and MC's, which aren't for everyone.

I will never play anything else on my irons. Wasn't a huge fan of them on my woods so I went another direction on those.

I have Star wraps on my irons and an assortment on my other clubs. I'm a no-glove guy and found them a little rough on the hands -- jabroni describes them quite well -- the ridges are sharper, which is what bothered me, but the overall feel isn't all that firm.

Play the 50 Series on my wedges and couldn't be happier. I am alittle hesitant to try them on my irons, which now have the new Iomic Black Armor Evolution Sticky 2.5 grip.

Tried the No1 ones but ended up moving one due to how squishy and the twisting I found at the end caps. The expert series did seem better in that regard though.

I tried one of these recently and had the exact same thing happen. Using Brampton HF 100 and Golfworks double sided, it's baffling. I've also had this happen with a couple of Lamkin grips and have no idea why it happens.

I am also looking for some more reviews on these. I just heard about them for the first time yesterday when I was at my local golf shop. One of the guys that works there had them on his wedges and I thought they felt fantastic. I grew up playing the Golf Pride Tour Wraps and loved those because of their tackiness, but these NO1 50's took tackiness to a whole different level!

I have read a fair amount of reviews on these tonight and it seems a lot of people only put them on their wedges. Is there a reason for that? I might just have to buy 1 or 2 and put one on my 7 iron and the other on my driver to see if I want to go for a full bag. At $14.50 a grip, that would be a horribly expensive mistake if I decided I didnt like them.

I would love to hear more feedback on these from the guys who have played them

I have read all of the forums on this grip, but most of them were years ago. Looking for some more recent real life feedback.

Now that the NO1 50 Pros have been out for a while, how would you compare them to the original NO1 50's? I know they are supposed to be a little firmer while still maintaining their tackiness, but how true is this? Tackiness is pretty important to me.

I just ordered a NO1 50 and a NO1 50 Pro to test out on a few clubs before deciding which grip I want to go all in with, or if I want to do a combo set.

Are you guys playing one of these grips throughout your full set, or playing the 50 pros on certain clubs and the original 50's on others? Which clubs, and what is the reasoning you chose to do so?

Thanks in advance guys
