New wedge set recommendations - extremely picky :(

Same issue with me, I didn't choose vokey because I truly wanted them but because they were what was best I could find custom built. That said I am looking at Edel for sure, not forged but a great looking wedge.

Bought myself a couple Miura wedges for my birthday - including this gorgeous raw 52° - and I'm pretty sure I won't be looking at any other manufacturer for my wedge needs.

If you go the JDM route, these are definitely worth a look. No grind options available, though you can get them raw for an extra $40 or so.

Totally. I got the 56° with the funky K-Grind and dang; that is the best wedge out of sand ever. It's like a samurai sword; just slices the sand under the ball and throws it out with like no effort. Took me a little bit to get used to it but now that I am - amazing. Great out of thick rough too; just cuts right through it.

The 52° is my wand, man. I love that thing.

Where did you find these? I hit the RTX 4.0 in stores last night and was shocked at how good they felt. The forged version looks a little cleaner and probably has even better feel. I am intrigued!

Didnt see it mentioned earlier, but fourteen has a good looking wedge. Very straight hozel into the heel of the club with no offset. At address it feels like there is no where the wedge can go but under the ball. A little rounder toe and top line can be a turn off for some however. Easy company to work with

Just bought Mizuno T20 Raw and I am as you - picky- these are so soft and so good:-)

I’m confused (often happens) but if your wedges “MUST” be forged, you have eliminated the vast majority of options. If that truly is a “MUST” then you have Cobra King Forged, Miura, Bridgestone, Mizuno, Mack Daddy Forged and some boutique stuff. You mention PING, Cleveland and TM Milled Grind, and Mack Daddy wedges. You know those aren’t forged, correct?

those were all options i mentioned as being ruled out and the reason why to give an idea of what im looking for. Yes I am aware of the options i have left myself hence the post. Ping makes a forged wedge btw. Apparently u can get a forged RTX too

I wasn’t trying to be a jerk, I was just confused why you ruled them out based on the shape and leading edge when they weren’t forged. It seems like you have between 6-10 options.

I think they're Japan-only (maybe Asia) at the moment. I've only hit them indoors alongside the cast model, but they did feel and sound better than the regular cast model. Don't know what they difference would be like outside and on grass.
