TS3 guys - talk about it

I’ve been struggling with my ts3. I’ve tried multiple shafts. It’s just hasn’t been consistent. Reminds me of the rogue-ca be long, but it’s crazy.

Playing mine at b1 to flatten it wit tensei av blue 55x. I played it all season and have no desire to try anything else. My spin numbers are around 2100-2300 which is way more playable than chasing 1900 low spin bullets.

After playing the TS3 for a full season, I have to say that is one of the most consistent drivers for me. I can hit a nice controlled fade almost automatically and my misses are much more manageable (slight pull or over cut by 10 yds). However I have found that it isnt as long as my previous driver, Cally Epic SZ, but with the Cally there were times where I couldnt keep it on the planet. Nowadays I much rather have a shot from the fairway, albeit from a little further out, than trying to make a hero shot from the woods to get onto the green in reg.

The TS3 is unreal! I finally decided to replace my original Epic SZ with a TS3 and I can say that this thing will be in the bag for a very long time. TS3 is an 8.5 degree with Aldila Rogue 125msi 70TX playing at 44.25". Despite being shorter in club length my ball speeds are up and dispersion is tighter than with my Epic SZ.

Ts4 might be the best shaped driver I have seen since the 975D. When I tested it, ball speed was fantastic but I could not keep the dispersion as tight as I needed to make it playable. Just received a ts3 this week with EFW. Have not hit it yet, but absolutely love the look. Can’t wait to get this thing on course.

I have to say, I love the high quality stock shafts that are being offered. EFW is the real deal. Even against a huge upcharge shaft which I have in the basement it is offering better performance. Love the thing. Great driver. Titleist makes quality clubs. If you look at the Mai Gulf Speye Moi/CG test you can see how well surefit works. Draw fade and neutral perform exactly how they should. Cannot say enough about the TS3. Only thing I'm worried about is swing changes causing me to need more loft. If that's the case I'm not worried I'll just find a 9.5 head.

I switched from the Epic SZ as well to TS3. Was not really intending to. Not overly impressed on the range but I took a demo out on the course over a few different nights to do a compare and contrast. Best vs Best TS3 was a little longer (few yards at most) than the Epic SZ but the thing that impressed me most was the improved overall dispersion with TS3 and average/poor shots were much better with the TS3. I ordered with an Evenflow White and platyed that for most of the season but last few weeks have been hitting the Hazardus Smoke and really enjoying it. Both are great shafts - maybe slightly prefer the feel of the Hazardus and surprisingly it gives me a little lower launch.

I’d been struggling with the ts3 recently so I found a m3 to play until I got my swing under control again.

I've been hitting a m3 with CK Pro with alongside my ts3 with evenflow white for the last 2 weeks.... both on course and at the range during practice. I enjoy hitting them both.

I’m convinced that the ts3 is the longest driver between the two. My miss with the m3 is a little better though. I find the ts3 shape more comfortable at set up. I like the sound of the m3 better.

I also hit my buddy's epic flash. The sound on the flash is atrocious. Just horrible. I hit it well, but couldn’t get on with the sound. Probably equal to ts3 in distance and easier to hit draws, less easy to hit fades. For me, of course.

Had mine since release since Fall 18'. 8.5* in the B1 setting with a +4 weight and 4-5 grams of hotmelt for sound. D5 sw at 44.5". This driver is a special breed when it comes to low spin and forgiveness. Have not looked at any drivers since and I'm a HOE.

For me the TS2 fairways are equally if not better than the TS3 drivers. Most forgiving fairway i've owned and it doesnt give up any distance. The two most solidified clubs in my bag.

Got fitted back in August for the full line. Ended up with TS3, 9.5°, +6g, fade setting B-1, 0.5" off, Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 60 (6.0) and Winn Dri-Tac Oversize Grips. Been a phenomenal driver, lots of speed. I wouldn't say that I have much more distance that my 915D2 but the sound, feel and speed are much more appealing.

For anyone interested, ended up with TS2 16.5° fairway wood, default weight, B-1, 0.25" off, Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 60 (6.0) and TS2 23° hybrid, default weight, B-1, standard length, Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 80 HYB (6.0) both with Winn Dri-Tac Oversize.

I initially went to the Titleist fitting for the hybrid, so I started there and loved the result. Out of curiosity I got fitted for the fairway next and driver last. For whatever reason, the Titleist fitter really liked the way I was able to handle the TS2 fairway wood. I have to admit, I have never been able to smash a fairway wood quite like that, the distance on it is unreal.

Bought all 3, 25% off is hard to beat.

It took me a few different heads to find the best one for my swing. I tried a TS2 but it was a hook machine and then went to a TS3 9.5*. I need a little help with trajectory so I ended up swapping the 9.5* for a 10.5*. It's been a great club so far. I was not a fan of the 917 so my previous driver was a 915D3 which I really liked. The TS3 is longer and more forgiving than the 915. I don't swap equipment a lot so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have been very happy especially compared to other Titleist offerings.

I agree. Love me my ts3 driver and ts2 fairway woods. I also way prefer the b1 flatter lie angle.

You should try one. I see used ones of course. But of all the people I play with that own one, not one has traded theirs' and no one has even mentioned it. I got mine right after they came out. We have about 24 guys every Saturday. Played with one group the first weekend and after a few holes one of the guys (scratch player) finally says, let me hit it. So he hits it great and ends up hitting my driver the rest of the round. The next weekend he shows up with one. Then a week later he plays with another buddy of mine. That guy hits his driver for a few holes. Next weekend he shows up with one. At this point at least 6 of the 20+ guys in our group are playing either a TS3 or a TS2. I don't know if it's the longest at this point. It may not be as I've heard the Flash is pretty long. It's longer for me because I hit this driver solid basically every time and I hit it very straight. But the common denominator of myself and all the other posters is the dispersion. This driver is very predictable and I really rarely hit foul balls with it. The Rogue SZ was a different story. Long, but unpredictable. Mines staying in the bag.

I hit the ts4 against a ts3 and 410lst today. The ts4 and ts3 had the same white Project X while the 410lst had the Tensei orange (all in stiff).

I have an average swingspeed and tend to generate too much spin. For me the ts4 was too small and unforgiving.

The ts3 and 410lst had almost identical numbers but the Ping still had a tendency to fade, even with the weight moved to the heel. Both were noticeably lower spin than my "gamer", a G400 max with the stock Alta shaft.

I left with a mint pre-owned ts3.
