entire head is stainless steel. I asked him for more yellow hues on the neck...

It looks great! If I had a serious project, I'd have no trouble turning it over to OneAugusta based on what I've seen of his work on here, but I have to admit it's pretty fun firing up the torch on some old Spaulding TPM model and seeing what colors you can get out of it!

Ordered this from David about 6 weeks ago. This is David's newest model and his take on the Dalehead with his original touches: pencil neck, thinner topline, thicker face. Have about 5 rounds in it so far and it's the top contender in the collection, just a pleasure to look at and putt with.

Hi all. I recently landed this putter which, as the sole suggests, was made for a certain C Montgomerie. I'm mostly a Ping collector, so while I am delighted to have this (and am now thinking of starting a TP Mills collection!), I know absolutely nothing about it. Can anyone tell me which model it is, if any? I presume it was hand-made - is that correct? And, as it obviously has plenty of rust, should I look into restoring it? I am tempted to leave as-is given its provenance. It also lacks a grip - which grip would be appropriate for it, my own personal preferences aside? All insights very welcome from any Mills experts out there!

That is the One model, if you go back one page in this thread (page 15) and look at the very first post, you'll see a picture of a new plumbers-neck One. I don't know that I've ever seen the lines on the top like yours though...a pre-cursor to the 2-Ball idea on a blade putter?

Thanks, great to know the model. I had a browse through this thread and overlooked the one on page 15 because of the different hosel but now I see the head shape is the same. Interesting!

Just coming across this thread, which has some unbelievable pieces. Here’s a Trad II XL Limited Edition 100 I recently picked up. Not a custom, but still a nice piece. I don’t know exactly what Swiss German stainless steel is, but I know it feels and sounds better than any of my other putters. This metal is fantastic.

New arrival from David. It’s an early birthday present I bought for myself. For some reason, it came wrapped. I suppose I’ll leave it wrapped until my birthday in May and crank it out for the season.

Politics aside, I thought I saw a picture/video of Trump being given a TP Mills putter recently at the White House. Anyone have any pictures or information on this? I swear I saw this somewhere but I can't find it for the life of me.

Tried ordering a Tradition II in lefty but was offered a soft tail only at the moment. Real bummer as I wanted to order on the spot. Would have been perfect timing with not golfing as much. Oh well guess it wasn’t meant to be

Does David mill all of the putters from scratch himself or are the heads milled somewhere else? I thought I read some of his limited runs are milled overseas but not sure about his customs. Can anyone confirm?
