I don't know how many times he said "at the end of the day ..." addressing the media. Would've been refreshing if he were honest and just say "the bottom line is I messed up, let's move on focus on this event". Instead, standing up there as if he made an honest mistake anyone could've made.

How do you handle animal scat/droppings? One time I missed the green only to land right into a pile of coyote crap and wasn't allowed any relief to at least pick it out for a free drop, no closer to the hole. I knew I couldn't clean the ball but I was just asking for a free drop. My playing partners denied me any relief and I had to pitch a pile of crap and my ball onto the green. Don't ask me what I shot. It was a real sh*t show.

Why is everyone so certain that he cheated when he clearly knew that there was a television camera 12 yards behind him aimed directly at his lie. I think it’s possible that he just had a brain fart. Absolutely no way in hell he intentionally cheated with a camera crew pointing the camera directly at him while tied for the lead.

He is a pro being paid to play. It is his RESPONSIBILITY to know the rules, and apply them. Just like it is the duty of people with listed companies or people who invest, to know how the SEC rules apply. Why people have to give a pass to jerks like this or make up excuses for them is beyond explanation

When the Kuchar/Tucan Sam thing happened last year there was very little precedent for Kuchar being a jerk other than some he said/she said stuff that maybe he was mean to dogs when the cameras were off. He was KILLED in that thread even before the full story came out. People calling to boycott sponsors, they'd never cheer for him again , etc...In the end it looks like Kuchar probably deserved it, but he was killed before all that info came out, based only on the word of another golfer.

Same thing with sung kang and Joel dahmen....there was nothing before on Kang. Everyone called him a cheater in that thread based only on Dahmens word. Many called Dahmen a hero.

Stricker would get killed, within 90% of what happened to Reed.

People dont always do rational things. I agree it's less likely you'd cheat while on camera, but I wouldn't rule it out either. Some people in the moment do dumb things

I watched a football player take off a QBs helmet and hit him in the head with it on live TV recently. I'm guessing that player knew that hitting someone over the bare head with a helmet after the play was over was against the rules .
