The Toulon sole plate was harder to strip than a Cameron sight cross. It took about 4 rounds of Easy Off at 10 minutes each and a Scotch brite rub down.

Toulon Putters don't get the love that they deserve. I just bought a really good second hand Memphis (the original one). It rolled really well and I definitely putt better with it than my previous face balanced White Ice Sabertooth. The head does seem smaller than I would've thought, but so far I'm loving it!

I have a steel shafted Las Vegas H7 and love this putter. All clubs have advertising all over them so I cannot see how the branding is an issue.

I have a Portland H3 with the Toulon Lamkin deep etched grip...what a great putter. It’s a lot smaller overall than I have ever used before, but it just works for me. It fights my Oregon Legend Jacobsen Scotty Cameron putter for playing time and usually wins...

 

I do like the look of the Toulon putters prior to this year, with the exception of the face...that is beautiful.

My first milled non insert putter is my Toulon Columbus. Feels great but the looks leave me wanting. You gotta love the sticks you're using, IMO

Has anyone ever paired one of the older silver-headed Toulon models with a black shaft?

 

I just got fitted yesterday and am trading my Columbus for a model with more toe hang (probably the Austin). I'm thinking about pairing it with the KBS matte black putter shaft, but I'm wondering if it'll look ridiculous. I can't find many pictures of the KBS shafts online.

 

Sidenote: why companies use illustrations of their products instead of actual pictures of the products is beyond me. KBS's website is pointless.

May not be exactly what you are looking for, but I put a matte black KBS shaft on a Ping Vault putter. Here it is next to a Toulon (Long Island). I think the Toulon would look good with KBS brushed chrome, which is probably the same finish as a C-Taper.

I rolled a few with the Ping on an indoor putting mat, but it is going to be a gift, so it has not seen an outdoor green. Felt good, but I have no point of reference with regards to if the shaft made a difference.

That is PERFECT, and you're awesome for the comparison pics. My plan was to bring my putter to Golf Galaxy and just compare it to whatever black shafts I can find, but this is even better. Thanks man!

I have it down to the Bettinardi Studio Stock 8 (felt best my Club Champion fitting, looked good on SAM), Toulon Austin (like the top line on the older model), and Ping Voss (couldn't sample unfortunately). Ah, decisions.

Ping Vault putters do not feel as solid as the Toulon. They have a thinner top line, which makes me think there is less steel in the face.

You should be able find a Studio 8 on ebay for a decent price. If going Toulon, might also want to consider the Madison. My guess is that older Toulons will be dirt cheap on Callaway preowned on Black Friday.

I might buy a Toulon Chicago this year but without the Stroke Lab shaft. The other 2 options are a chrome and a black steel shaft. Does anyone know what type of black shaft they use?

If you like that head shape I think you will enjoy it. Have one in the rotation currently and it feels fantastic. I would think you could move it pretty easily if you decide.

Just got an Atlanta H4 and love it. Compact mid mallet with great feel. A great alternative to an answer 2 style, quarter toe hang with a different look. Very happy!

Does anyone know if Toulon/Odyssey/Callaway will make a loft adjustment on a Toulon. I need the loft essentially 0'ed out and not sure if they'll customize loft.

I don’t think they have an option to adjust the loft just the lie. Toulon garage is supposed to open back up the end of February. I know they have the ability to adjust the loft there.

Thanks - I was a bit surprised that they didn't have that as a standard adjustment. Will look out for the garage to open up. Also want to see it in person which I should be able to do next month.

Garage is open for business again. Just designed my ideal Chicago and the price is just too outrageous. Better off buying the stock version with the desired shaft and sending it out to Continental to be finished. Save almost $100 doing it that way.

does anyone know where the specs are listed for the models in toulon garage? i am looking at the palm beach and curious what the total head weight is with the different sole plates. cant seem to find the answer on odyssey website..

 

also. anyone know if it is possible to order the palm beach with 2 sight lines (like protype 7 or metal x milled 330m). that is the putter that i am looking to replace, but they only offer a single sight line or sight dot.

Very disappointed in the hosel options in the opened garage.

The prices are insane for the Garage, but a couple things are nice to see. For one, there are multiple finish options available, including "Tour Silver," which will probably look pretty sweet. The Madison and San Diego now have a short flow neck and the Austin has a short slant neck. I don't think either of those were available in the old Garage.

But still, the prices. Going through the Garage to get a custom San Diego, for instance, will end up running you about $760. No thanks. I'll stick to retail.
