Been looking for one of those in good condition for a long time. Just never come up for sale. Awesome stuff.

 

I’ve had many and still have my longneck. This is an 009 shape, milled carbon Head that can be had for under $100.........if you can find one.

Thanks. I bought this one in average condition. Did some work to smooth out any dings and sent it off to be refinished in soft black. I just got ebay alert few days ago on another one. $40 but looks like more work than I put into mine.

autronicdsm has the right flat stick.....but I happen to like the weld neck, bringing this thread back to life...picked these up a few weeks ago, don't know what happened but they are carbon steel and were very cheap....been talking to putter guru's to get new weld necks on them, I game the originals so I knew what I was getting into.....thinking a mix of different necks, long, standard, flow and center....will post pics when I get them back. Can't afford them all at once, so gonna do 1 or 2 at a time lol. What you all think.....long necks first for sure!

Very nice. Gotta ask, did Lajosi install the long neck on this or was that done afterwards? I saw on their website they don't offer that option (at least online) so I was just curious.

Yes, Kari did this. I emailed him for a quote though. He was great to work with, and responded to all of my questions. It came out exactly as I wanted, and this is my favorite putter.

Oh man, that's awesome. So when you requested a long neck, did you mention the exact length of the neck you wanted or the toe hang you wanted, or just keep it simple and request a long neck?

I requested a face-balanced, long neck, with 1 shaft offset. I am curious for a 3/4 offset, but no rush to buy one.

I found that knowing your exact specs helps. I requested: length, lie, loft, toe hang, offset, stainless steel, milling, stamping, softening of bumpers, and the grip. It arrived as you see it. I searched here, on putter talk, and instagram for inspiration. I even sent him a couple example pictures of what I was looking for.

Very nice. Was he able to adjust the head weight to your 345g? I ask since his website says that model is 352g on the normal plumber's neck so the long neck would obviously be more.

I believe it is 345 total as marked. I have not pulled it to weigh, but it feels like it when comparing other putters.

It is worth asking him some questions if you are slightly interested. Of the few boutique manufacturers that I have contacted, he has been the friendliest and most responsive. That goes far in my book.

Thats what I did. Had a nice Ketsch gamer and was willing to risk it with my backup I traded for.

We have seen lots of very nice , pretty , pimped, and custom long necks in this thread......now a picture of an OTR , old, and ugly long neck from my collection.

OTR? I'll say, this one is one of the best money can buy for OTR putter.

Face balance with no sight line, clean no busy neck for easier allignment - full offset and within legal long neck lenght. Whoever made this putter, certainly know what they are doing.

And I am curious, anyone know who made this putter?

It was a Japanese release , import to the U.S ,. I'm guessing maker commissioned by Mizuno is some one overseas....

Mizuno Tour Style T-301 model. Mizuno has worked with some big names in the past but I don't think this is one of them, as they typically would put their name somewhere on the putter I believe. So this was either done "by" Mizuno or done by somebody for mizuno that didn't have a big name in the putting industry. It looks pretty sweet though! Were you able to find this at a good price? I'd think the rarity and age would make it rather difficult to pick one of these up for a cheap price.

I am collecting putters and have Mizuno Betti along with some other Mizuno. I don't think it' s made by Betti or TPM. I got this "Dare to dream" recently and for dirt cheap. It just such a rare nowaday could find a putter that made with nice balance - feel and good ball roll eventhough this putter is out of my spec. Everything looks proper, it gave me huge wow when I got it and these "expensive feel" I only can find similar to my pro plat millspec- Byron -Lajosi. Hope to know who made this gem.

Pure Copper Bettinardi Tinley Park limited release; very rare in the Long Neck.
