Ping Outerwear Sizing Question

I've purchased some PING outerwear in the last few days, but based of my location it will take several weeks for it to arrive. With that said I have no way to judge Ping's outerwear sizing, and wonder if I ordered too small of garments. I ordered the Zero Gravity jacket and shirt, the Norse Primaloft II, Elden Fleece, Breaker Full Zip jacket, and Herman Pullover.

My Ping shirts are size small and fit just about perfect, so I ordered small in all the outerwear listed above with the exception of the Norse (only available in medium). I've seen a sizing chart that suggests that the shirts run one size bigger than the outerwear, i.e. a shirt in size small is equivalent to a medium outerwear top.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as I would need to re-order larger sizes soon before the sales end or they run out of stock.

Ping Polos are sized one size larger than their jackets and tops. The question is whether you are on the cusp between small & medium. If you have a 38" chest, they both might fit you.

All of the more recent outerwear I have from ping seem to fit ok in the shoulders and sleeve length but snug in the torso and waist in my normal size. Kind of a euro style. If you have a big gut, size up

I don't have any experience with any of those items in a size Small, but, I did try on a Ping Breaker in size M. I felt a size S would have been better for me (there wasn't one for me to try). I base this on my experience with the Ping Tour Eye Rain Jacket. The size M is quite roomy, and, I think the size S fits me better, - Yes, I have both. I, also, have a Ping Nelson (half sleeve rain shirt, fully lined, 3 layer Pertex Shield), and, that fits similar to the size S, Tour Eye. fwiw, my chest is 38 inches. I think you should be fine with size S, but, if you want to wear extra layers underneath, you might want to size up.

Oops, I will find out about the Breaker in a size S, and, a Zero Gravity Short Sleeve Rain Pullover. The Zero Gravity short sleeve should work better for me than the Nelson in warm weather, though, I expect them to similarly sized.

A bit late here, but I'd say the size of Ping is pretty much the same as Adidas for their polos and outerwear. I'm a M in both and they fit exactly the same

I have ordered and received in a size Small, Breaker Jacket, Zero Gravity short sleeve, Norse - fully insulated, and, an Elden. I would say the Breaker, Zero Gravity and Norse fit similarly in chest area. The sleeves on the Breaker, are quite snug on the fore arms. The Norse fits fine, and, lack of a wrist adjustment/elastic, doesn't appear to be an issue with me, I tried it on with a long sleeve, and, the sleeves seemed to make the length of the sleeves ok. The Zero Gravity ss fit similar to my Ping Nelson/Tour Eye jackets (fwiw, a little looser than my Kjus Dexter - size 48).

The Elden is a bit snug, but, with enough stretch to work ok. The fit is more like base layer like, and, if I were to really wear it as a middle layer, I would probably need to size up. Length is quite generous, but, because of the snug fit, it doesn't hang down. It can be pulled down for more coverage, but, most likely, I will let it bunch up above my hips.

I wear Medium in everything and PING outwear seems to fit fine in that It’s slim cut I guess not baggy but I want golf outwear to not have a lot of extra material when bending over
