New Bridgestone Balls

I’m finding there’s very little spin difference between hard and soft premium balls with the woods/hybrids and 8i down to LW. For my game, the largest difference is 4i thru 7i. I need more spin in this section of my bag. I played the B XS For a bit last summer but moved away from it because I lost 5-7 per club. So if it remains much the same spin performance wise but adds a could yards carry it could take out the Pro V1x since I like a softer feel.

Also, is there that big of a difference between the '19 and '20 model BX? Enough for me to hold off and pay the extra cash for the new ball. May need to wait til the comparison reviews come out.

While these sound very interesting, current Tour BX was $26/doz on Amazon last week so I will be rolling with those for 2020!

Any improvement on the BX would be great. IMO the current ball is the best all around ball I’ve ever hit. I don't want it to feel softer though I love the current feel especially with the putter.

I'm still finding TOUR B XS boxes for $26-30 shipped to my door, so I'll play those as long as the deal is around. I highly doubt anything in the new ball will help me enough to justify paying $49 a box right off the bat.

I bought ten dozen B XS for about the same price. Even if the new ball is, "better" I'm so used to the B XS I don't want to tune in something new. For my game, I've found nothing better than the B XS.

I've been playing around with so many balls in the last season, and same, nothing comes close to the B XS for me. If next year's version is even better then sign me up for a lifetime supply!

For those who have hit the new ball, is it softer the BX, longer? Just played the B X today and wow. Greens were still a little frozen but driver and irons were longggg and straight.

I'd like the know as well. Played the B X the other day and it worked really well for me. Flew well and spun as I needed it to. I'll be stocking up with several dozen soon and I am not sure if the new ball is gonna be worth the extra money for me.

No. BX. But you really can’t go wrong with either at all

For what we can get the BX and S for I can’t imagine that the new ball will is worth almost double the price, especially for us amateurs. I grabbed a 6 dozen box for $150 and it’s tough to not grab more before they disappear. Cant beat these at 25$ a dozen.

Personally I would start with the BX. It’ll certainly feel firmer than the CSX, but it’s a fantastic blend of feel, distance, and spin. XS spins a bit much for my liking, I’ve always like the lower spin offerings of each brand as I tend to have high spin naturally.

Is the new Bridgestone ball going to be a Tour B XS or just the Tour B?

I had played a Pro V1 for years until last year. I switched to the B XS because I liked putting with it better. As the year went on I felt the B XS spun too much with my short irons and wedges and was going to go back to the Pro V1 for 2020, but after hearing so many good things on the new Bridgestone ball, I think I might wait for it to come out before making a decision.

Both will be available along with the RX and RXS line. No yellow in the BX or BXs.

I can't speak much about the new ball as I haven't used them yet but, I'm sure Bridgestone is gonna take care of us.

Yes, the 2020 Bx is softer than 2019 Bx

Yes, the 2020 Tour B series still has the B as a logo. Bs is blue numbers and Bx has black numbers.

 

I’m still loving the 2020 Bx... fantastic ball for me game!
