First Push cart

I’m here to eat crow. As a former PGA member and admitted walking snob, I have to say I’m really happy with my latest investment. It just seemed wrong for high schools kids to be using carts but its everywhere. I am now 52 and have been sitting at a desk for the last 17 years which means my back is destroyed. I can officially say that last weekend was the last time ill carry. After 5 holes I was done and this was a flat course. There is also something appealing about having everything so easy to get to. There is a spot for my phone, rangefinder, even a cooler. This may be stating the obvious to a lot of you, especially those of you on the other side of the pond, but I feel like I just found another decade in my golf life.

I’m 51. I carried until 4 years ago. I haven’t carried since and never will again. Of all the golf crap I buy, the push cart is by far the best golf money I’ve ever spent.

Even managed to get my wife to go with today, she wanted to push it for the most part. I felt like i was inside the ropes. Lol

I have never used one but getting the one that Costco has a great deal I’m so planning to do a lot more walking next year

Welcome to the push cart army. I'm 54 and have used one for 6+ years. A push cart was the best purchase i made .... until I bought the Alphard eWheels motor for it :)

Definitely looking forward to buying a pushcart for next season! Walked a course for the first time earlier and it was much more enjoyable than driving around

I'm 35 and love using my pushcart. I like walking more than riding, but the only time I get to do that is the fall/winter and the spring in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I could carry my bag, but the pushcart is more enjoyable. I have a Clicgear 3.5, and haven't had any issues with it.

Love my pushcart, however with the days growing shorter and colder I will likely carry for most of the winter as the bag on my back can block a slight bit of wind and keep a little bit of my body heat closer to me. I currently use a TGW Player's 3 Wheel Model and it very possibly could be the best value cart on the market!

Picked up my first cart last week. Clicgear were doing holiday discounts so it was the ideal time to pick up a 3.5..........Got it figured out yesterday and put my bag on it. Really like the set-up.

If I couldn't use a push cart, I couldn't walk the course, and I really enjoy that aspect of the game.

Rovic is Clicgear's lower cost option, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of attention. I bought the RV-1C version (no swiveling front wheel) the other day, on a Black Friday deal. As a long-time Clicgear 3.5+ driver, I think this is also a high-quality cart. It folds down to an even smaller size than my 3.5+. I wasn't sure about the "rubber band" straps, but they're clever and work well.

OP, buy a Clic Gear 3.5+ and don't look back!

My wife insisted on pushing it last time we went. This bag didnt work though, fell off a couple of times.

That looks like the Rovic model with the swivel front wheel. On that model, the bag bottom has to sit on a very small "ledge" behind the wheel. The non-swiveling version has a much larger platform for the bag bottom to rest on. I even like this design better than the triangle-shaped bar on my Clicgear 3.5+.

Ah... my bad. Does your bag fall off the Caddytek because there's no top strap, only a cradle? I once had a Caddytek cart with bungie cords top and bottom, and never had a problem.

Yep, There was an extra cord in the box somewhere, need to find it because it may be for that reason.
