Search Function Broken? ***Fixed applied 12/23***

When I used the search function now it always returns no results. I am guessing I am not doing it correctly but anyone else having that issue lately? It always used to return everywhere they found the text but now nothing.

Are you using the white search box on the top right underneath 'new discussion'? Thats only for searching the current page/thread.

 

You need to click the white magnifying class all the top in the top right of your screen.

I am currently facing the same issue and I am using the magnifying glass at the top right.

Agree that is the only search option that I see and I even tried the advanced features. Well hopefully someone can help us out but glad to know I am not the only one!

Same thing was happening to me last night as well as this morning.

Is this function not working? I and others members who are RL friends have been trying to find some information on courses and it does nothing.

Example: I tried the icon in the upper right corner. It notes search when you hold the mouse over…so wondering is that right now? I type in anything, say "Ping" or "Pinehurst" since I know there are a ton of threads on both. It then takes me to another page that shows no threads related. Now there is a bigger SEARCH BAR LINE on this page so I type in the same thing and I get threads that are not even related to the what I typed in the search line?Brings up some other crap??

So before it was "Search this Thread" so I change my baseline and was specifically in the “Courses & Travel” section and typed PINEHURST…which I know there is 100’s of threads on. Nothing… goes the big search bar page and its blank still. I type in Pinehurst on that search bar and I get one thread… one!! Which is not even the current thread right now I and others have replied too.

The one thread that comes up:

So are we searching wrong or is it not functioning right?

Same. Been trying to find a putter that was listed in a multi item ad and can’t find it now.

I find using Google a much better tool. I search for "site:golfwrx.com pinehurst" I know that is the pain but it works so much better and you can search multiple words, etc much much easier and much much better result. My experience is that forum search tools typically suck.

Simple search for "irons" spelled correctly in the classified section yielded no results. LT one week ago, when you started typing something in the box, it would start showing results. Now, nada.....?

I think we get that, but as of right now there is something wrong with the search engine in that it's yielding zero results, regardless of section. See the screenshot above.

This is probably know to the site admins, but the search tool is still not working. I searched "Taylormade" in all forums and the search returned zero results.
