Graphite Design shaft question

I have looked at the Graphite Design shaft chart for info on shaft choice. How much of a factor is butt section? Is it much of an influence? I do not see this data very often hence my question. Thanks.

Probably the most influential to how a shaft feels as that is the only section of a shaft making direct contact with the players hands.

I have a DI6X I use in drivers now. I had used some FUJI's in a driver and I was struggling within and once I switched to the DI6X it was night and day performance and feel. As everyone will tell you, you really have to get fit as it is so specific. I will say feel wise it is one the best feeling shafts I have used. Feels soft at impact but it is not in flex.

Butt end contributes the most to how you feel the stiffness of the shaft. That’s not to say shafts are only stiff if the butt is stiff, but just that you feel less give and release in butt stiff shafts. The Diamana whiteboard is pretty stiff but the butt is rather soft, making it feel different than say a HZRDUS black. Gotta hit a few and see what you like. I messed around with GD shafts on eBay since one had them to fit with and demo around me, never found one that was worth the price over a stock option that served me as well of better.
