I saw the photo on instagram a couple hours ago and just knew there'd be speculation circulating on wrx. I'm 99% sure it's Kuchars wedge and I doubt we see Tiger put one in the bag. He's just too much of a traditionalist and doesn't change much about his equipment.

I'll never understand how people go NUTS over tiger playing anything he's never tried. Clearly not his wedge, so all the fan boys at home can quit dreaming of having "Tiger's Wedge"

I thought it was funny that KBS took this 1 photo and posted it on their instagram to make it seem like Tiger uses their products...great marketing but anyone who really knows TW's game know's he doesn't play KBS.

Do we really know that? I mean, he has never ever had shaft bands. He could be playing a lot of different things are we would never know if it was a stepped steel shaft.

People go nuts because Tiger is notoriously pretty static when it comes to equipment. Anyone who rarely changes certain things will draw a lot of attention when they do, or in this case appear to do because a single opportunistic photo, hah. I think there was a minute where he had a regular Project X Rifle in a driving iron, but as far as I know it never made it in the bag. I mean sure, we technically don't know anything for sure....but its Tiger....there are certain things he almost never changes. Plus he did have shaft bands back in the day.

For sure, and you're right, technically we would have no way of really knowing if it was all kept under wraps. However, I remember a thread on here where someone was counting the number of steps on the shaft and claiming Tiger was using a different version of the Dynamic Gold or something, so I doubt even a subtle change would be missed by some of the crazies on here. ?
