I got this as well and ordered this thing in October and it was a Xmas/birthday gift for me...I'm pretty pissed off to say the least. I would have bought one on ebay if I'd have known it was going to get delayed again. I better be a scratch golfer when I'm done with this garbage.

The way I’m reading it if you got the same one is that your October order is on schedule and anyone ordering now is part of the sold out release so the October order will be shipped next month as scheduled and the sold out bunch will get theirs in February

My order date is Nov 1 and I received the same email. It is a bit confusing in that it says I got the email because the wave is sold out. WTF? Then it says my order is on schedule. Whew! The email could have been written a bit better.

If you post about getting or not getting the email, please post your order date ?

I ordered in early December and received an email today that my order is ON SCHEDULE and will ship mid January.

I don't own the PlaneMate (pre-ordered and will get it next month-ish).

Is it interesting, weird, and/or expected that after watching the videos, I went to the range yesterday and just thought about and tried some of the things I remembered from the videos--and today played a round and had the most solid ball-striking round with my irons in recent memory. Driver was extremely inconsistent, hybrids were mostly good, and distances were consistently good, but not really improved compared to before. (I'm an 11-index and hit 11 greens today) . Again, no real drills--I don't yet own the Planemate. But just some of the swing thoughts from their "protocols" and one range session seemed to help a lot! I don't think I'm mis-attributing cause and effect: the thoughts did work even without changing any muscle memory with the training aid. It sure makes me optimistic that with the Planemate, I can groove the proper movements, strengthen the appropriate muscles, get some extra speed/power....

What do people think about this?

ive also been watching the protocols and doing the drills without the planemate (i'm in the january batch) and ive noticed some improvement already. protocol 3(?) where you pause and switch from upright to shallow has been a really helpful feel for me to keep the clubhead back and not casted OTT. and even just protocol 1 helped me to realize how little rotation i had in follow through, it was new to me to feel how low and left i should be. prior to this i was rotating late and hands would go straight down the line instead of turning around my body. i always knew something felt weird about my follow through but you don't know what you don't know. very encouraging and i cant wait for the additional feedback the actual planemate will provide, feels like ive been waiting a year for the damn thing.

I believe this is correct but the email is confusing. I am focusing on the “your order is on schedule” in bold and taking it as those ordering now will have an expected Feb date.

I also wonder if signing up online for the advanced protocols is what generated this email. I signed up after receiving an email that they were available. I did not submit an order number, etc... when signing up.

AI have followed Martin for quite sometime as I still own the Tour Striker wedge, 7 iron and 5 irons. Martins swing philosophy seems to have remained consistent thru the years and all of his previous drills still seem to match with the feels of the planemate and the new protocols. You may want to check out some of his older teaching material as well.

"If you placed a pre-order for a PlaneMate before 12/27, your order is on schedule with a January ship date! 

We have SOLD OUT of the January wave of pre-orders. The next wave has an estimated ship date of February 24 for new pre-orders."

Yup guess I misunderstood...I had thought they had originally said "late December, early January" and this email was a bit confusing. Chomping at the bit over here!!

I hope, I personally would like to see what this group could do in terms of fully fleshing out its limitations and possibilities. Not trying to be a dick, but the, “should I order one or not?” And “is it coming” responses serve no value and really have no place in the instruction forum.

I hope everyone who wants one gets one quickly so we can improve and grow together.

I’m interested in more testimonials in what results people are seeing: consistency in solid contact? Increased swing speed? With both irons and drivers?

Seems like it’s mostly stories about more consistency with contact and mostly with irons—is that right? E.g., Have people seen distance gains with their drivers?

To the people waiting for months the “is mine coming?” Replies are completely valid., it’s a public forum not always what you want it to be

considering you think it’s of no value to high handicappers anyway I’m curious what you think you can learn

Totally valid, agreed, just not in this sub-forum.

Second, I said they would likely quit before it was useful for them. Not remotely the same thing you said. I would happily be proved wrong on this point, but I won’t.

On the last part, any insight is potentially important regardless of the source.

Please can you post the rules you seem to have created so we all can know what is appropriate or not for the general topic of planemate? Thanks in advance
