It is just to create a distraction. @15th Club may appreciate this. To some extent Geoff Shackelford agrees with you. He thinks (and in this case is probably right) the players fought it. So as is what is the purpose of the bunker? It really does not accomplish anything.

Not the biggest fan of Shack but he is right on here.

Sorry, I really don't like listening to Paul Azinger.

Hes brutal. Is like worse than McCord. Well, not that bad. But it’s getting close.

Patrick Reed! Just said to the official.

I know, Anything I do is a penalty

Anything someone else does is fine

Lol, thing I heard that right.

Not a Reed apologist by any means but I think he was referring to being able to recreate his lie in the hazard since someone else found the ball but caused it to move and settle deeper when they moved some of the grass.

So, bishop, did I get his quote wrong?

I think it was very close to verbatim. But I could be wrong about the second line. What did you hear him say exactly?

You’re right. This is how I heard it too

But I’m still over this guy.

I don't remember exactly what he said I was paying more attention to the overall content of the conversation and my interpretation is that he was just confirming with the official he could recreate the lie and discussing under what conditions he could incur an additional penalty. Of course I could always be wrong but I didn't iterpret his remarks as being snarky or sh*tty in any way. Reed is the Conor McGregor of golf - "I want to take this opportunity to apologize - to absolutely nobody!"

Yes, he was just confirming with the rules official that if he were to cause his ball to move it would be a penalty at that point, but if some outside agent moves it it wasn't (or something to that effect).

Reed also seems to be playing a different golf course than everyone else: -7 today going into 18.

"His arms almost lengthened on the way down"?

No they didn't. Can we just get rid of Azinger already? Dare I say I'd rather listen to Greg Norman.

Edit: actually, they don't need to replace Azinger with someone else. Just have silence when he normally speaks.

Zinger needs to familiarize himself with PING products more. He says Niemann has worn out the center of his putter not realizing its the milling pattern that makes it appear that way. Noob.

Cantlay prob has the most f-bombs caught on camera in the last year or so than anyone else. He seems pretty funny.

Now to address the Azinger vs McCord topic. I hate them both. McCord to me comes off as less obnoxious (relative to zinger) because all the dumb sh¡t he says he was trying to be funny. He was obnoxious but he was trying to be funny. Zinger on the other hand just say completely stupid and largely false things because he’s a dumbåss. I don’t think he realizes it yet. Which is sad.
