eBay is littered with New and used Raw. First I’ve hear black was softer than raw.

I have some RTX4 and Sm7s, I much prefer the RTX4 wedges. Better feel, better flight for me. I made the mistake and went low bounce. I wish I had a smidge more bounce but that is fitting not the club.

I have the 54* mid (2 dot) and 58* low (1 dot) in the satin finish. Typically I use the 54* from the fairway/rough on 3/4 to full shots and from green side bunkers. The 60* is used on 3/4 shots and firmer conditions (hard green side bunkers, hardpan, etc.). I like having the option of using a mid or low bounce when the conditions dictate such. This way when I play, I can adapt to the course conditions and not "wish" I had another club.

Previously, I had (still have in my garage) a 58* mid bounce, but found I was limiting myself when bunkers and course were hard/firm. Since I made the switch, I could not be more pleased.

In terms of spin, I am going to assume the raw generates more spin than the black? They have stock at my local PGA store so I am really torn whether to exchange the black to the raw since I am within my 90 days haha . I appreciate all the replies!

Raw wedges do not add any additional spin. That's a myth. What you can expect is reduced glare and a good looking club, but rust doesn't add anything to spin.

Someone help me on picking a new 60. I recently have been going thru wedges and have settled on the CBX 50 (for fullshots and pitches), the CBX 56 (for sand and green side and 3/4). I was thinking about adding a 60 that I can open for some flops or short sided bunker play.

I now need to decide between adding the CBX2 60* (10 degree bounce and a C shape grind) or go with the RTX 4 60* in either the low grind (6*) or mid grind (9*).

I'm thinking the RTX4 mid grind is better because more bounce as my miss is steep. Can the mid grind be opened up for flops?

Anyone notice a distinct difference in weight with the lower lofted wedge vs high lofted? I just ordered a 54 and 58 and the lob wedge is noticeably heavier which I prefer. Is that the “feel balanced tech”? I wouldn’t think so but they both have the same shaft and swing weight looks like it should be the same from what I can see online for specs? I don’t think it’s just me it’s pretty noticeable, want to make sure this is normal.

I am planning to use my playability option with the PGA store and I just wanted to get some input from y'all. I plan on changing my 54/mid and 58/mid to 56/full and 60/mid. Should I stick with the original sole options I had with the 54 and 58 or go with this? Thanks very much!!

My PW is 46* and I tried the RXT4 but I just didn't feel comfortable with it. My PW is +1/4 so maybe it was length or swing weight which felt "different". However, I do game a 50* RTX4 as a gap wedge and I love it for that particular purpose.

Don't think the Wilson PW will be dialed in? (I believe you mention your ordered a set in previous or different post).

They’re being built. I should have them before I head down to Florida I hope. I’ve really been wanting to try a three wedge setup. I could just bend the Wilson 2 weak (maybe smartest) and then go 52 58. My plan was initially to bend my SM7 50 to 52, 56M to 58, and 60M to 62. I feel like the 58M with a bit more bounce would be amazing but I have to test it out. The downside to this setup is losing the 105-110 full shot with the 56 that spins a lot.

I was thinking of trying out the RTX as my friend has them and I loved them when I tested. 48-53-59 was the thought with bending a 52 and 58 weak.

I like the idea of the 48-53-59 set up. Sounds like it would work, but you'll know when you get to play.

I just purchased another set of MP-14s (2-9). I now to need to look for a new "PW". The set's PW was 50/6. The RTX only has a 50/10 (mid). I think I might pull the trigger on a Mizuno T20 50/7 to keep it close to what the normal PW would be.

The question now is to stay with my 54 and 58 RTX (bring them over from my gamers when I use the MP-14 for a round), get set of 56 and 60 RTX (maybe bend the 56 to 55) or go full Mizuno T20 with a 54/58 or 55/60 set up?

For the 56* loft RTX-4 the M (mid) has 9* of bounce and the F (full) also has 9* of bounce. So is the only difference that the mid lays flatter when opened up a bit whereas the full grind would have its leading edge a bit elevated ?

Really considering going to RTX 4. I like my staff forged but I want to try a 46-52-58 combo. Is anybody running the 52 and 58 in the mid grind? I use a 60M for nearly every bunker shot as long as it isn't a super long one. How does the mid grind do out of bunkers and on tighter lies?

I am currently using 50, 54 and 58 Mid. I use 58 for bunkers and it is very versatile. However, I am going to experiment with 60 mid in hope to replace the 58. I prefer little higher flight out of the bunkers and less open face on flop shots. I hope to achieve less margin for errors for my game. Whichever loft fits your needs, RTX4 is great wedge with very good/solid feel.

I have the 54* mid grind which I used out of the green side bunkers were when the sand is soft/fluffy. I had a 58* mid bounce which worked well, but on hard pan or hard/firm bunkers, I needed less bounce. I went to a 58* low bounce and could not be more pleased with the option of a mid and low bounce.

Since I received a set of FG V6 (wink wink), I purchased a 56* mid and 60* low bounce. Used them this past week and it worked very well.

As long as the bounce matches the course conditions you play, the RTX4 will be awesome, you will be very happy if you decide to get a set.

This is what I'm trying to decide is whether to grab a mid-bounce 58 for the soft sand. I don't need a 54 out of firm sand because my 58 low bounce can do double duty, but on the short fluffy shot I need the extra bounce.
