Haha as usual...looks a million times better than the crap they have coming to retail in 2020.

 

It's like the guys running SC actively TRY and make the retail releases terrible and actually put out what they want to in the tour models.

The shape of these are great like the retail ones, but the "marketing" again just isn't doing it for me. One tour dot and the Scotty Cameron font would have been plenty. They're ruining some near perfect millings with awful stampings.

This x100. If Nike tried to sell Jordan/Lebron/Tiger shoes that they didn't actually wear, no one would buy them. SC is a brand that didn't release a Tiger putter when he was a Titleist guy. They've never released a putter that was cosmetically the same as what's on tour. Their IG account is full of pictures from tour reps of pros' (simple, non-jeweled) putters, none of which you can buy.

The only logical explanation is they've calculated they can sell a ton putters to people who aren't on IG or GolfWRX, while simultaneously keeping the value high (to us) of the CTs.

Dear SC, there is a market for something between the $399 OTR and $3999 CT.
