Am I missing something with T100S? If you wanted T100’s but two degrees stronger would you not just get them fitted like that?

I would love this!! My little one is still some time away from joining on the course but I don’t want to start him off not playing Titleist haha.

I’m confused, if it’s just the t100 2 degrees stronger then it’s not a new release, it’s a fitting option. And if it’s the t100 2 degrees stronger but with added tech to keep launch and spin up then it’s pretty much the t200.

Both my girls started with irons that looked exactly like these - out in the garage and it's really cold so I lifted this from the internet. Oldest playing Titleist now!

This reads more like a statement than a guess. Any info on the T400s? Know if they're G700ish or a more bulked up T300/AP1?

According to the people who told me about it, it is 2* stronger. Also has a thinner face than the regular T100, has the same offset, topline, and sole design, but features progressive set design to blend better for the stronger lofts. This is not simply a "power-spec" option like Ping does, this is apaprently an iron that has the ball speed parameters of the T200 with a T100 package (smaller, forged, less offset, etc.)

Most of the people have hit the nail on the head so far. Think a full set of U510s from what I have been told. Ballspeed, high launch, low-mid spin. Perfect for the high handicap that never dreamed of playing Titleist due to the "unforgiveness".

Could be a nice looking set. Titleist seems a bit reserved to go all out on a bomber set. Their thing has always been proper dispersion and consistent distances. This could be a huge departure. Hoping they reel it in a bit to make it playable for a broader audience. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the PGA show a lot more now!

All i know is the T200 and T300 are 2 of the ugliest irons Ive seen recentky. Maybe Titleist finally figured out no one is paying $1300 for cast irons. Do people buy those Concept irons?

Correct. 2 additional offerings. However, IMO, the T100S is a T200 killer as they fit mostly the same demographic.

I agree they aren't pretty, but I don't know many GI irons that are (Mizuno Hot Metal is about the only "good looking" forgiving club). I think a lot of OEMs are opting for visible tech in these types of clubs. It does 2 things, I guess. 1) It shows the hopeful that iron tech does exist, and if its there it is surely going to help them 2) Building off of 1, its easy talking points for reps and salespeople

For instance, if I handed you an MP-20 HMB and said that it had a Max Impact Technology cog on the toe to spread ball speed and increase MOI around the head, had 2 layers of COR2 rebound gel in different densities, was grain flow forged, had urethane microspheres infused into the gel, and tungsten weighting in the heel and toe to further stabilize the head, an uninformed person is going to look at me and be thinking no way they packed all of that one head that looks so plain. Obviously it's an exaggeration since this is a blend of several head designs, but if you add a SpeedSlot and SpeedBridge (ala TM) or put the Max Impact Tech cog on it and show the huge undercut cavity, it's at least believable because the tech is right there. You can't deny what's right in front of you staring back.
