Not a bad signing for Wilson. With Woodland and now Tway they are adding some younger-ish players and also power as Tway is not lacking in the distance department either. Not sure if that's coincidental or deliberate but he's a solid player and Harrington, Streelman still effective but getting long in the tooth.

Very interesting, was aware of the company but knew every little about the ball so just assumed he's be using a Pro V1 or something. Did notice the TM driver too which I also see in a photo in the linked article.

Just read that. Sergio had a colorful year last year with some of his antics. He played 15 events with 5 top 10s. Not horrendous. Ping has some power under their wings with Finau, Cam, Bubba, and Hovland to name a few. Can't help but to notice a possible SIM headcover in there for a wood. This is a good little shake up. Wonder if he sticks with chromesoft.

Cant name a single non callaway staffer playing one. But plenty of non 14 club guys play B stone , srixon and of course titleist.

Sergio started playing the Pro V1 during the FEC playoffs (Northern Trust) and won an event (KLM) on the ET in September playing the Pro V1. Earlier in 2019 at the Open Championship he played the TP5.

Oh wow. Consider me schooled. I like the TP5. New ProV1 is a good ball too. I gotta say though, the previous gen Bridgestone BX and BXS were amazing and the new gen has some of that Tiger magic mixed in with his feedback so I'm sure those are gonna sell sell sell this year. Sergio has been around the block. I'm sure he wouldn't even do a deal and just use a particular ball. Whatever gets him to stop cussing in a poorly raked bunker.

To be honest I doubt many here knew Sergio played different balls in 2019 or even won on the ET in September. He could already be playing a different ball. Tough to know at this point. Bridgestone has made excellent tour level balls for years going back to when they were branded as Precept.

Beef is no longer wearing FootJoy and has moved into Puma but it seems that he is still using Titleist clubs given that they made an appearance in the video announcing his move to Puma.

The point was that the players who were named as using the ChromeSoft are Callaway staffers not that all Callaway staffers use it.

Yep. Not saying all callaway staffers use the callaway ball. Some Are able to negotiate a club only deal.

Take players like Patrick Reed and now Sergio. As soon as they leave callaway , chrome soft is the first thing to go.
